      Off the phone with Amazon support, apparently a few users here have been calling them regarding incorrect charges. They cancelled my order for the scales AND gave me a $18 credit (has to be used on a Amazon supplied item however) and will get in contact with the seller about it.

      I did however get a few of the other items such as the speaker and some Christmas items so am quite happy overall!

      You might have just missed them, for me both items were available for over 10 minutes at $2. But, as others said: the price first changed when I clicked 'add to cart'. Just refreshing the page didn't work for a little longer.

    I appreciated the OP and this deal. I couldn't get anything except for the bottle covers the first round. But since I stayed back and realised the OP tried to fix issues. Thanks to that, I managed to buy all the items I wanted. The scale didn't change to $2 for me until very late.
    But because I already got great prices on the other stuffs, I actually was about to buy the scale for $19.99 as I think it's still a great price and BAM, it turned into $2 at checkout. Couldn't be happier :) Now I can sleep, thanks again!

    The OP should be commended here for not only doing something out of the ordinary which involved some risk, and not only for sticking by the OzB community to set things right, but also doing so at such a late hour. Astivita is an outstanding contributor to this site who has time and time again provided deals that are definitely worthy (in my mind) of 'bargain' status… and top customer service to boot (I'll never forget the time they fully refunded our $15 sink order just because the taps were missing).
