  • Are these plastic or glass?

    • Glass bottles

      The free ones are cans.

    • They were handing out cans the other day

  • +1

    Love it!

  • +2

Cheers, bought a custom glass bottle for someone who cant find their name on anything

    • You're welcome!

The available names list is very limited indeed even with the nod to cultural diversity

ps. Shame WA not included on the freebie Coke tour

Why do you want to buy/pay for one when it’s free at the various locations mentioned above?

Wasn't that hard to work out why…

Plus I value my time. $15 is less than an hours work for me. It would take more than an hour of my time to go down the shops, and line up waiting for a free can. For $15 it's delivered to me, glass not can, with a display box/case of some sort

        • Sorry don’t see you’re in Perth!

    • Attention we have now ran out of body coke bottles

    • +4

My son is also named Bort.

    Cocaine

    Ooops!
Sorry! The name or phrase you have chosen is a trademark or deemed too socially or religiously sensitive to print on a Coke bottle. If you believe this may be an error, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Otherwise, please try something else, such as a nickname.

    • lol - good to know ;)

    • +4

Coke doesn't like an Infidel like me😮

    • Just use the name '1929 coca cola' - the last year coca cola contained cocaine.

  • +2

Glad the list is there. Would suck to get there and realise my name is there but it's spelt differently.

    • +2

      pennipincher98? ;)

      • +5

Funnily enough, I couldn't find pennipincher98 on there. I thought it was a very popular name for kids these days.

    • I think it’s confusing to say list of names are “in store” so ready to buy, the shopping centres ones are able to “personalise” so even for name not on the list, right? All my family’s names are not on the list, anyone can confirm?

      • +1

Yes, that is correct. If your name (or that of a family member) is not on the names available in store list then you can get a personalised complimentary Coke can during the shopping centre promotions

  • +1

    WA sucks to be you

    • +7

along with NT, ACT & Tas

  • If you can be bothered to line up

  • Awesome initiative! Reminds me of this…

  • nothing near me all other side of cbd

  • You can have offensive terms put on the bottle or cans !

Just shipped a few saying FatC*** to a friend.

    • are we not allowed to say (profanity) on ozb?

    • +4

Once you confirm the order, your requested name will be sent for individual moderation. During this process, we will double-check if the name is permissible. • Don't know how 'Bogan' passed the check. Had a good laugh when I bought a can for lunch with said name.

        • it annoys me that it doesn't say "a Bogan"

  • +1

    2nd of February for SA?

  • +1

The last time they did this in WA about 8 years ago I lined up a few times to get names for a few of my friends. If you're getting more than one, bring a backpack.

  • +5

Can finally get a 'Bort' bottle.

    • +3

Sorry, they are already sold out.

    • Sorry all of the Bort licence plates Personalised Coke Cans have run out

  • +2

It's not actually printed, they are printing stickers of your name tag that they stick to the Can of Coke.

    • +1

This is what Cotton On did with Milo tins except you had to pay for the privilege. Guess would be kinda hard to churn out lots of actual printed cans.

  • +3

They rejected my name - " Pepsi Diabetes ".

  • Look forward to sharing a coke with Mic Hunt.

  • Interestingly timing, they were featured poorly in another article I happened to be reading today: https://therising.co/2019/11/02/coca-cola-named-the-worlds-m…

  • What do people do with these? Keep the empty can on a shelf once they have drunk it?

  • +1

My name is on there :( so much for having a unique, unusual name which started out as typo on my birthday certificate and now 35 years later, it's become so common that it's on coke bottles? How is that possible?

    • Methinks Coke may have chosen the 'names available in store' based on their employee names so it may well be that there is a 'JJb' on Coke's payroll but it's not THE (unique) Jar Jar binks😉

      • :)

    • Jaxon? Timm? Bo? Jhon?

      • Nope.

  • So are the glass bottles you order and pay for printed on or still a plastic wrap?

    • Judging from the preview, looks to be printed on a plastic wrap

  • Hi everyone,
I am new to this coke glass bottle name print. Is this e-commerce store permanent that you can purchase them anytime through the year or some kind of very time limited? Thanks

  • February? You gotta be kidding, that's so far away.

  • My name is on the website list this time around. Now to just find it in a store …

  • None in NSW Central Coast :(

  • The cute bottle I designed: https://imgur.com/Qgv3kDB

  • wow in victoria they are not coming to southland? but only chadstone ugh

  • We should put on the can share a coke with ozbargain
