Just got off the phone to Amex customer support and before the end of the call they let me know that this offer is back on.

The 8000 points transfers to 4000 points in most programs, making this deal a bit sweeter than the previous ones since the devaluation.

Not sure if it is available to all cardholders, and I would recommend doing this over the web chat so you have a record. Also not sure if you can do this more than once per account.

EDIT: Apparently needs to be done over the phone.

Further details:
- Must sign up and be approved for new card before 24/11/19
- 8000 points will be credited after $800 spend on new card
- Minimum spend must be completed before 31/12/19
- Supplementary card holder must be 16
- 4 free supplementary cards per primary card

      Same. Getting the Ms to ring up and question them is the most painful thing. I can't exactly pretend I am the Ms on the phone.

      Ditto. Waiting for a June/July promo to be fulfilled … I've already contacted Live Chat twice and they say it's coming, but so far no dice.

          I’m waiting for 5000 bonus Velocity points; you? They offered the same promotion again in September but I was sceptical in taking it due to not having being paid out for the June/July one

    Hi all, I have received all the points for adding supplementary cards in JUN/JULY promo. And also received 1 x 5000 for SEP/OCT promo but I should receive more from the SEP/OCT promo as I added 5 supplementary cards for the 5 accounts we have between me and MRS. SEP/OCT promo terms were bonus points will be credited 8-10 weeks from 31 Oct, so technically we are still within that period.

      Just queried Amex about this, 9/1/2020 is the date they're quoting now for the Sept/Oct promo. Appreciate that may have been in the T&Cs, but there was no way to view them at the time of the offer. I know 5,000 points is 5,000 points, but this is a pretty lengthy wait for a relatively small reward, never mind.

        Totally agree… in that case NOV/Dec Promo going to be credited may be MAR/APR 2020….
        BTW I got one 5000 credit from SEP/OCT promo on 6 Nov, this was the very first supplementary card on that main account. I have added supplementary cards to other accounts as well during SEP/OCT promo, but they were not the first sup added and I am yet to receive the points. I cleared asked Amex whether the bonus is only offered where you add the very first sup card to the main account and they confirmed it is not the case and you will get the bonus even for 2nd, 3rd and 4th sup cards, provided you only add one sup card per account during the promo… lets wait and see….

            @Yola: I also checked with Amex and they said only 1 sup per account during the promo period but it can be the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th supp card on the account.
