  • Inb4 "nothing is 30% off"

Indeed…. It probably falls into "fraudulent and misleading conduct" under ACL.

Speaking of fraudulent and misleading behaviour, look at the claimed retail prices on these air fryers….

There probably something at 30%, but it's likely to be something crappy (ie 2000pc plastic clips). Most stuff is probably at the lower percentage, it just a pain the find out the discount.

With some of these websites I never trust the RRPs they give as firstly only a few products ever actually have an RRP (ie video consoles) and the prices for the RRP are way too high for a generic product, even costing more than the equivalent Phillips product.

More often than not they only work for the online courses. The sort of courses that are free on udemy and all other sites.

Note the HAPPY30 Groupon code on the Boozebud 5 x $10 voucher only gives $0.10 (1%) so the "2.5% to 30%" that Groupon claim is rubbish.

    • Was just about to mention that, that's what I was going to buy.. breaking there own terms of the deal.

      10c discount for a $10 purchase?? It's a neg from me.

  • +2

Agree with ash2000 totally inflatied RRP had one of these fryers also it lasted 2 uses had to send it back for refund and you can tell its no way the quality of other brands that do have the higher RRP it maybe the case you get what u pay for.

    • You're losing out if you're not comparing both at all times.

  • Cashrewards still hasn't tracked my order from Sunday! Used the app and it redirected to the groupon app. Made my purchase and nothing! This is becoming more and more frequent. Last time I had a successful purchase tracked was about a dozen purchases ago!

    • Why not contact cashrewards? They have been able to credit in the past when one did not work for me, and it was very easy to contact cashrewards.

Giving a negative vote is not appropriate for this deal.

You have to wait 7 days before contacting cashrewards. My neg is justified towards the terrible system cashrewards is with tracking of purchases. Only had 1 tracked in my last dozen purchases… then the hassle I had to go through to get $2 Back was just ridiculous!! I'll neg every cashrewards deal from now on until they fix their issues.

  • Does anyone know if Cashback will track when using Groupon credits to pay for a service? Thanks in advance.

    • Yes, did this a month ago and they did track, although if you did get the credit from a refund the previous purchase will have the cashrewards cancelled. If you have a gift card it maybe different. For my case, the original purchase cashrewards credit was removed over time, so there will not be a double cashreward.

      • Thanks for your reply. :)

Event cinema tickets only 5% off, if anyone is wondering

  • +4

Stacks with this today, which may make it worth it for some

Edit: $13.50 Event cinema - 5% with "mystery" code, then 15% cashback plus the bonus $3 cashback, works out to be $7.90

Should have read the comments…spent a tad thinking there was going to be a decent discount, was sadly mistaken.

Not sure what their play at this is because they'll lose a lot more clientele than they gain through this pox promo. Any discount under 5% frustrates more than it could possibly benefit users.

  • Does this work with hotel deals?

    • +1

Yes, tested it and it only took ~8.5% off of the deal though

  • Happy 30 took off less than a dollar
