good news, another pointless ebay sale where they make you hunt the site for any elligible items

at this point surely the only people using ebay are the people who view this site

every time i read good news, it reminds me of dr farnsworth

Commenting about this does nothing unless you also cast a negative vote. When enough people downvote these 'eligible' sales to make the deals disappear from the front page, eBay will stop getting free advertising from OzBargain almost every day.

Upvoting comments about this does nothing either.

You've convinced me, can't find any good deals. If a decent deal comes through, I'll upvote that individual deal.

New lows being reached every day on eBay.
Latest being sellers jacking the prices after they have sold the goods.

they even cancelled my order cause I bought the item before they jacked the price saying "out of stock".
It was certainly not out of stock when i clicked pay lol

    • +1

Yeah, I used discount on a robot vacuum once only for seller to cancel and relist @ higher price.

Complain to ebay. Seriously. Make sure they correct it to "transaction defect - out of stock" not "buyer requested a refund".

The former hits them HARD. 2% of transactions cancelled as out of stock causes their seller account to be less than standard, with consequences such as increased fees, possibly PayPal fund holds, don't know what else.

When they file as "buyer requested a refund", nothing happens.

If everyone affected complained you'd likely stop them as 2% of the last year's transactions is a very low number.

    Any bargains?

    • don't know why ppl negged you, so I just followed

  • Been on the hunt for a good deal on mate 20 but can't find any apart from the 500$ JB special

Anyone know how can I "search" among eligible items?

    • +3

Why would you want to do that? It removes the fun of testing codes on random items!

      • haha, but I want to save money rather than end up buying more useless stuff…

        • +2

Oh yeah massive size 72 "/s" at the end of my comment lol. This is a big pain.

'eligible items' from a a couple of known price jackers. This is not a bargain, it's spam.

This code can't be applied. You can only use it via: computer browser, eBay app for iPhone, mobile browser, eBay app for Android, eBay app for iPad.

    • +1

haha yeah this is a weird one… i got this error message too

    • I had it too, changed to edge browser, which is the browser i never use for anything, and it worked.

It may be caused by tracking and ad blocking in the other browsers but then again ebays site is terrible so who knows.

    • I've had this happen multiple times over the last week on the ebay app. Not sure what's going on but after a few attempts it usually works. Try typing the code in manually.

    • Getting this too (on Firefox). Typing code in manually as well.

  • For the love of all things, can this deal somehow drop the rate of used prices on Mario Kart Switch - game is a nightmare to be found as a bargain.

    • It's not even good imho. Wish I could turn off weapons and cart differences and just race.

      • :( I just want something new for my missus and I.

We basically clocked Mario Party and no one wants to swap on gumtree

        • You'll prob like it. I'm in the minority with my opinions on MK8

  • Just tried for all the items in my cart. Fail.

  • where do i find eligible product?

  • Any deals on SSDs?

  • Any iPad mini

  • Well it's nice of ebay to at least make the expiry date after black Friday. At this point it's risky to purchase any electronics without at least waiting to see what black Friday has on offer.

    • Not really. It is the day before Cyber Monday. So are there better deals around then?

  • How do you create a search for these sellers?

  • Has it finished?

  • Very disappointing how eBay have made finding the bargains so hard.
