    Problems:
    1. Some items from DM are more expensive on eBay than on DM website-not considering members offers (which make prices even better).
    2. Not all items are available (only about 30% of my initial selection of wines).
    3. Code doesn't work.

    Contact Ebay chat to get the discount if you don't want to wait!

    I contacted chat and they created a voucher for 20% off my cart. The quickest way is to have everything in your cart ready to go so they know exactly what items you're going to buy. (I hadn't actually made my mind up when I first contacted them, so I ended up having to open chat again once I'd decided)

    Kitchenaid is working now though, not sure about any of the others.

    If the code is not working for Dan Murphy's, that's because it chooses to pull out. This happened to First Choice 20% off last time but I was able to place an order before First Choice pulled out

    Have we reached a new phase in eBay promos?
    They promise 20% discount but even the sellers can’t be arsed to jack their prices by the usual 18%, so the whole thing gets canned under the guise of “technical problems “

    Reach out to eBay again and mention you wanted to buy from dans with 20% off.
    They’ve confirmed in an email they’ll refund me the 20% discount post purchase to my paypal account from Dans.

        I'm gobsmacked, they actually rang ME just now and said they would be providing a voucher. I'd previously removed the items but reloaded after reading the above, so having items in your cart is probably key. They must have been seriously concerned about being reported to consumer agencies for misleading conduct. Irrespective, it's a good business decision.

          do you or anybody else who got a voucher for 20% off have an ebay SR reference number you're willing to share? looks like SR X-XXXXXXXXXXXX. I've raised a support incident with ebay and they haven't been forthcoming with a voucher. Just want to refer them to an existing case where vouchers were provided.

            @Kenb0: In a few cases at least they've not provided vouchers for an instant discount during purchase but rather they are providing a refund of the 20% to the PayPal account (with up to 15-20 days to clear).

            They did offer me an instant refund voucher for use on ebay, again after the fact, but I declined stating that's not the same as money in my pocket or an upfront discount.

            I do have an SR number but if you're saying we know each other, we may need to exchange a bit more info privately.

            I chose the PayPal refund option.

            In all my dealings with them on this, they have flat out refused that anyone has been given a voucher to use on the spot for Dan's, citing that they haven't been able to do that kind of thing since early this year. Make of that what you will.

              @nismo: Thanks for the response mate. I think I'll just drop the case altogether. They're only providing the refund vouchers/discount vouchers options for people who want to buy from Dan Murphys, but I'm trying to buy from toysrus. They're denying outright that hobby warehouse and toysrus were on the offer at all and I can't prove that it was because I didn't screenshot the T&Cs page that originally showed they were part of it so even if they are lying outright, I can't prove it. It's gone beyond the discount at this stage, I just want to prove to them that whomever is telling them that toysrus and hobby warehouse weren't advertised as being part of the original promo was lying but unfortunately I don't have any evidence. Pisses me off when companies lie about stuff like this.

    Does anyone have a screenshot of the original T&Cs for this promotion where both hobby warehouse and toysrus were included(and then subsequently removed)? Have spoken to ebay and they're contending that Dan Murphys was the only "selected seller" thats been removed and that hobby warehouse and toysrus were never part of the promotion.

        Ya thanks i thought about using the search url but they need something from their own T&Cs page. Apparently the directive from their marketing team is that both toysrus and hobbywh were never part of the original promo.

        Hoping someone else who raised support incidents with eBay had the presence of mind to take screenshots of the original promo page which did mention those two stores. I stupidly thought that their marketing team wouldn't change their T&Cs page and then deny all knowledge of the previous stores that were listed on there

    Called up with Dan's items in my cart, gave them the details and they're issuing a manual voucher for 20% off the value of the items. Didn't even have to ask for the voucher, they just offered it straight up when I mentioned PLOTS20. Apparently will take up to a day to be issued so we'll see…

        Mine just came through. I asked them and told them it was urgent so they make it "priority" for me. The voucher was for a fixed amount given my cart from earlier. That said, they even rounded up a whole few cents on 20% so is all good
