Game Codes are for AMD Raise The Game for CPU and GPU, including Xbox Game Pass codes.

To reiterate the status of build times from yesterday, our current build times are about 2 weeks (10 business days). We're working through a large number of orders from our recent deals as quickly as possible, and I'm very aware that some customers are beyond their estimated delivery dates. Two very large batches of 3500X systems should be shipping very soon - likely tomorrow, and then early next, which should see the bulk of those current orders fulfilled and received by the end of November. Other CPU builds are continually being dispatched and once the 3500X orders are cleared I don't anticipate any further escalations beyond 2 weeks unless stated.

Summary of other current dealios:
Budget 3500X / RX 580: $549
Higher Spec 3500X / 1660: $689
Mid Tier 3500X / 5700: $978
Mid Tier 3500X / 5700 XT: $1128
High End 3500X / RTX 2080 Super: $1499 [Says Expired by code is still active]
High End 3700X / RTX 2080 Super: $1799
High End 3900X System: from $1699
High End i7 9700K / RTX 2080 Super: $2049
all +$29 delivery

Cheers

  • The H18 is now out of stock. We're working on a replacement and I'll update this or post a new deal when it has been arranged.

    So component. Much specific.

  • +3

Let's say i order this today. When, realistically, will it get shipped out? I ask only out of concern from other commenters who have noted their delivery has taken north of a month.

    • +3

Certainly a valid query - I've just added a section in the post about it, but we believe we should not be beyond 2 weeks for new orders from here. 3500X deliveries have created a logjam but that is clearing shortly, and other CPU builds are still shipping around them, with their benefitting from the 3500X clearing out shortly too.

      • Do you take payment before 2 weeks delivery or closer to it being delivered

        • +6

Payment is always up front. There is no restocking fee or anything like that for change of mind/cancellation prior to shipping.

          • @luketechfast: Hi Luke, I have Order #TECHFAST30612631. Is it possible to get a refund if it’s not too late and I’ll order a higher spec system early next year.

    • +5

      A month.

I ordered November two and still waiting for dispatch

      • Happy to look into it for you - should be imminent. Can you PM your order details?

  • HI OP just curious if i wanted specific parts bundled (upgrading my current gtx 1070 setup) for eg.

    ryzen 7 2700x + B450 MB + 16GB 3200MHz RAM

how much would it cost me?

    • +1

We're only focusing on complete systems at this stage in our business sorry!

      • all good, thanks

    • +10

Pretty sure Ultra Plat PSU was confirmed price error, surely!

    • +1

There is no chance that PSU deal was legitimate. If not a price error, gotta be a scam. You'd be barely scraping the PSUs found in dell/HP systems for that price.

    • what are you using it for?

      • Candy crush on my 160" 16k 144hz telly.

  • Apparently the 5700 MECH is not suitable for bios flashing as it only has one power connector.

    • running a bios flash on mech OC with no issues.

      • How's your performance OC the 5700XT bios?

  • offtopic question. Is it ok to have 2 different size RAM's of the same frequency and brand ? Ex: G.skill 3200 16gb in one slot and G.Skill 3600 8 gb in another slot. I am aware that if i use 2 different frequencies the MB will tend to use the lower frequency but i was just wondering about different Size of RAMs. Thanks.

    • +1

Usually they won’t be compatible but there is a possibility.

    • +1

You might be able to. However, the 16GB G.Skill 3200 is likely double sided but the 3600 8GB is likely single sided. XMP will most likely be out of whack so you will need to go for manual. Don't be surprised if you cannot even reach DDR4-3200 speed. On a MSI B450 board, set the Command Rate to 2T.

    • +1

Uhh, you can run 2 different size RAM most of the time. RAM incompatibility is an extremely complicated topic but generally different size is not the cause.
In your case, it will be just like a 2x8GB runs in dual channel mode and the other 8GB of the 16GB stick runs in single channel mode. The frequency will default to the lower stick but you can play around with it manually.
So in conclusion, not optimal, but far from "not ok".

      • Thanks, that's the answer I was looking for.

  • Any thoughts on the MSI Mech? Been hearing mixed opinions on it, only thing holding me back.

    • If you have doubts about a graphics card, don't get it.

MSI Pro VDH motherboard is a deal breaker.

  • How do I get windows installed on a 240GB m.2 NVME SSD instead ? not currently an option. assuming this is easily done if i add a 240GB m.2 NVME SSD to the build ?

  • Will there be a 3700x deal with a lower spec video card like a RX580?

    • Can look at it for sure!

My system was ordered a little over 2 weeks ago but have not received any briefing on its progress. This seem to be a common theme with TechFast order. Could I cancel the order please?

    • Sure

    • PMd you.

      • Thank you for your prompt reply. Hopefully have it by Friday.

  • What model of the 5700xt will be included in this build?

    • It says MSI Mech in the description

  • Ordered my 3600+2080 Super build on 31/OCT
