  • Plus Exclusive: 15% off* Coles on eBay
Save on fresh, frozen & more when you shop $99+. Ends 2/12

    • -3

These frozen goods delivered….in plastic bags ….wouldn't it go off in the sun?

Are everyone at home waiting for delivery..?

      • you can schedule it for outside business hours

Sometimes I question how we managed to get a man onto the moon let alone into space.

        • That's why I am asking the lab mice to shed some light on how they have done it….right Mick?

  • Beat me by a minute - was just about to post this.

Does anyone else find buying groceries difficult via the ebay interface? My first order took over an hour to complete. Limited range and not as easy to use as their normal website…

    • +3

very…and some items (in the shopping cart) become out-of-stock or unavailable very often. My first order took me 2 hours.

    • It's not bad if you are just buying bulk.
I got a couple hundred dollars worth of cat food last promotions and it was pretty straight forward and the items came on time.
I'd imagine doing an actual weekly shop would be tedious.

      • +1

I was about to say this. Best if you're just buying bulk of certain items and not trying to do a full grocery shop.

    • +1

      Yup. Extremely frustrating process.

      • +1

Yep was going to comment the same and ask for suggestions on how to improve. Coles Online is so much easier, and it remembers your past purchases so you dont have to search through it again.
I was completely put off even with free delivery over $49 but with 15% off might be worth it.

Can someone who has finished the transaction please tell me why it says $2 delivery per item selected and how to nominate a delivery time?

anyone else find buying groceries difficult via the ebay interface

Almost no one is doing price comparisons across vendors because shopping takes hours if you do that.

Instead they're being controlled by marketing by having carrots dangled in front of them such as receiving 15% off the total but they have no idea if that means they lost less money when they shopped.

  • +2

15% off with a max of $100 off huh?
That means that you'd want to spend at most $666…

    hehehe

Very limited delivery area. Can we add (Restricted metro del. only) to the title?

  • +3

can I buy gift card with this?

    • +1

that would be great if someone can confirm

      • +1

can't find any gift cards in their store, so don't think so.

  • +4

Why eBay codes always strictly begin with P? This one makes me chuckle

    • My assumption would be it's specific to a particular country.

      P being Australia.

That way the codes don't overlap with overseas promotions.

      (Could be completely wrong though)

      • +1

haha, eBay US and UK codes also start with P

        • +1

          Then I am lost.

    • I guess P stands for Promotion or Promo code.

    • Limitations of the coupon management system for non-targeted coupons

  • Better not spend it on Dr Oetker pizza after it was found some of his art collection was Nazi war loot. True story just breaking!

    • +1

Thought you were telling porkies but you very definately weren't…

      • +1

        My sources are beyond repute!

    • More evidence that the news is completely irrelevant and harmful to the user.

    • Wowza

  • does it stack with flybuy 4-weekly 10000 points promotion

    • Wondering the same.

    • Dreaming nope, but you will get 1 pints for $1 spend if you are plus member and linked your flybuys

  • Just letting you know this code does not appear to be "plus exclusive" as I just used it with a non plus account.

  • Lack of product range, issue with return and refund take days. I don't think it is worth it.

  • For anyone thinking of buying 35 packs of Zooper Doopers!

I'm pretty sure they limit you 5 for Promotion Items.

  • +2

I wouldn't risk it after the $49 promo. Also the flybuys X,XXX points with XX spend that happens all the time is probably just as good (without risk of cancelled order).

  • I wonder how the business side of this partnership all shakes out. I can't imagine Coles would really be pushing to move their online ordering system to someone else's platform so I imagine it's ebay fighting to stay out ahead of amazon maybe?

    • It's most likely ebay trying to gain first movers advantage for groceries. Amazon already does it for limited items via prime.

  • Geez, has anyone noticed that Coles eBay approval rating is at 89%? I've never seen one so low… Makes me think twice about this.

  • Do you need Ebay Plus for the free delivery minimum?
    Mine just lapsed ;(

    • Yes you do however I used the discount code with a non plus account a few hours ago and got the 15% off not sure if it still works

Where's my last order damn a$$coles!!

  • Nothing in their store?

  • Coles eBay are crooks! Cancelled my order from last deal but kept my money and ignored all contact for months. PayPal finally refunded me after they also ignored paypal.

Wasn't just me happened to heaps of people.

  • Not worth the hassle, missing products, having to open cases top get refunds for missing goods as coles phone customer service won't deal with Ebay coles issues.

  • When I try to add a nappy such as this one:

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CUB-Unisex-Ultra-Dry-Infant-Napp…

I cannot add it in cart infact have to directly checkout. Why is this happening does anyone know? Thanks.

  • Coles ebay has a severely limited stock. Better to buy from them direct.

  • Coles would have to pay me to shop at their eBay store. Downright pain in the Aaaaas.
