Cheapest I have seen so far. Was looking for an Ipad for my daughter, but wanted 128gb. Haven't checked out the rest of the catalogue yet.

I just managed to get OfficeWorks to price match/Big W as they have it for $1 less.

Yes it is iPad 10.2 (2019) version replacing iPad 6'th gen 9.7 (2018). Also there is iPad air 10.5 (2019) which was released earlier but with better specs. Cheers

The 7th gen has the A10 chipset (iPhone 7 & ipad 6th gen), support for the version 1 pencil and a new "smart" keyboard cover (4 silver pins on the side) over the 6th gen. also a different IPS screen.
It's not a huge boost over the 6th gen, but they put IpadOS on, so you get window-in-window and multi-tasking (for some apps, like notes/reminders that support the window mode) and USB HDD/SSD/Thumb drive and Keyboard/Mouse support with a Lightning to USB dock/adapter (i believe … probably check a youtube video if someone's tested iPadOS for the iPad 7th gen, since it's very, very new).
The Air 3rd gen has the A12 chipset (iphone XR), and the Retina IPS panel/screen, so it's a hybrid regular/pro model.
The 11" Pro has the A12X chipset, Face ID, etc. but it's also 3x more expensive, roughly.
