I noticed a discussion was posted in the forums, but after talking with the Amazon chat I reconfirmed that it is indeed the Motherboard and CPU in this combo. It's an excellent price as the deal is cheaper than the CPU itself, and despite the questions on the listing confirmation from Amazon chat confirms the deal or at the very least will support your claim for a refund or fulfilment of the items.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
Mobo: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI

CPU cost alone is approx $500, meanwhile, the Motherboard is around $400.

I've included the chat transcript below in case of any doubt, or if you need it in future:

EDIT:
I spoke to yet another rep, this time they took around 10 mins to come back to me with an answer, and same outcome:

        • Amazon would be the last merchant in the world to do that.

    • +1

Waiting for it to dispatch, then we go to ACA and ACCC with a Class Action Lawsuit with fellow OzBargainers.

      • Looks like Amazon has charged my card. But still has yet to inform me about any changes to this order. It has yet to be shipped either.

  • Just received my order today… no cpu, just motherboard. Not a deal, waste of time.

    • When did you order this? It says expected delivery day is almost 15 day away for me.

      • The deal has been on for like 2 months already.

        • Fair enough. Thought it was sold by third party last time no?

          • @Tachicuddles: Yeah that's right. Last time I checked about a month ago the original seller (MemoryC from US) is not on the list any more but can't recall how long since Amazon US is the seller. I mean third party seller from US must pull all their hair out if AUS customer keep buying and returning on their dime by Amazon AUS error.

            • @Squirtle: Cost them 80 bucks for me to send mine back

            • @Squirtle: Couldn't you call them out on fraud though? You clearly purchased something that was even stated on the receipt but you didn't receive it.
If you paid by CC you can probably dispute it and keep the board while getting a refund.

  • glad this is fake deal otherwise I would have pulled my hair out for missing out lol!

  • Looks like Amazon finally caught up, received this email from them:

We've noticed that when you ordered this item, the product details section stated that this item includes CPU and Motherboard. This is incorrect. The item you ordered was the MSI MPG X570 Gaming PRO Carbon WiFi Motherboard.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. To help make up for the inconvenience, we've applied a $10 Amazon.com.au Gift Card to your account. This amount will be applied to your next eligible order automatically without entering a claim code.

  • That deal would have been insane, way too good to be true.

  • Just to update all. I complained when they sent the above email and they gave me a $10 voucher.

It was delivered without the CPU and customer support provided a full refund.
