    • I'd be keen to know as I wanted to use 28D CC. I rather have the insurances than $50 but would like to have both. :)

Not sure about amex on ZIP…..I have used my mastercard to pay it off before effectively proving the concept of credit on credit….but unsure on AMEX.

        https://bpay.com.au/BillerLookupResults?query=228551

        This Biller accepts

Cheque, Savings or Debit Card, Visa Credit Card, MasterCard Credit Card, Other Credit Cards

The issue is that I don't believe Amex offer a facility on their website to actually make BPay payments.

      • Just realised though wont I be paying ZIP rather than the item on Amazon so the insurances wont work as I wouldnt have purchased the item using the credit card?

        • I think it would be safe to just pay Amazon direct I think. I broke almost all phones I owned lol

Zip is a line of credit. Like a credit card. U get approval for a credit limit. U purchase item using zip pay. U then pay off the balance using savings card or linked bank account over months with minimum repayment usually $40 a week.

  • I can't remember if I have ever signed up for Amazon Prime.
Is there a way to check with your account etc?

I don't want to sign up and then find out I can't have the 30 day free trial and pay straight away.

  • I just signed up for ZIP but can’t use it as I was only approved for $500 and the purchase is more than that. Is there a way to do a split payment?

  • Cant seem to purchase from Officeworks (C&C), Amazon nor The Good Guys anymore - let me know if anyone experiences anything different though!

  • Put an order through hours ago and it said will be in stock on the 07/12/19. Payment hasn't gone through. Should I expect it to show up in the 07/12 or?

First time using Shopback, and finally see a pending Amazon transaction in my account, after purchasing this. Amount is currently listed as $34.77. Shouldn't it be $42.50? Or even if GST were excluded $38.64?

    What is everyone else seeing?

    • 34.57 for me. Not sure what $$$ it is using. I paid $845 due to a small amazon credit I had.

    • 4.5% of $772.73 = $34.77

      • But it was meant to be 5%?

        • yep that's what I thought. Is it written anywhere?

          • @IdiotSandwich: Only in the threads of Ozbargain. To be honest I never checked. :-(

            • @boxall: They have topped mine up another $3.84 after a query.

              So total now is $38.41

Phone cost me $845. $768.18 ex gst x 5% is $38.41 so spot on now.

              • @boxall: Thanks, did the same.

May not have been worth the time except that I multi-tasked several online support live chats; had other stuff to sort out too ;)

        • +1

Just sent them an email - [email protected], so hopefully get my extra $3.86. This is the cost of a USB C cable :)

    • same here

  • Did anyone get $50 in your Zip account?
Is this to be chased for Shopback or Zip?

    • Yep, got the $50 back from Zip near instantly, if I recall correctly.

It was a $50 limit across all Amazon purchases, did you get the cash back on other purchases instead?

Shopback is different, it seems they gave 4.5% rather than 5%. They'll fix that up real quick via their live chat, just need a screenshot of your Amazon order.

      • Thx. Lodged a case with Zip as I didn't get the cash back from Zip. Thanks for the tip for shopback cash back, I will chat with them too.
