      The switch comes with a pair of joycons (ie. 2 controllers), which allows 2 people to play multiplayer games.

      If you have more than two people wanting to play, now would be a good time to pick up more controllers, either as another joycon pair (one purchase but allows another two people to play) or the pro controller (only one person can use).

      Did it say HAC-001 on the console itself? I also picked mine up and it said HAC-001 on the box but when I opened it, it said HAC-001(-01) on the console itself. So perhaps check that? Also check the serial number, it should begin with XKW. XAW would the old model

      Mine from JB hifi also says HAC-001 in the package.

      That does not necessary to be the indicator that this is an old model.

      Check if the serious number starts with XKW and the product number starts with HAD first.

    Has anyone ever used ebay gift cards but then cancelled an order? ebay says it could take up to 5 days to get the balance back on the vouchers. I used over $100 worth so it was too risky to wait for the balance back (just incase sells out) and I didn't wanna hold onto that much value of ebay vouchers.

      I got my "Your order is ready for collection" email about an hour after I bought it from eBay. It can depend on your store and how fast they are or if they have the item in stock. If you're worried maybe give the store you organised to click and collect at a call?

    Hey all,

    I picked my switch up from store this morning.

    Mine states HAC-001(-01) on the switch unit, and starts with XKW on the box.

    This means it's the newer model with extended battery life.

        Yeah that's correct. The Nintendo switch should start with "XKW" in which if you check the Nintendo website it's the HAC-001(-01) model(longer battery life).
