I was going to buy one for $8.24 as per https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/500969 but then spotted 2x for $13.99

  It seems to have slightly better features too with an extra 0.5amp and data support for lightning. Also from the brand baseus if that means anything.

  Does anyone foresee any problems if you charge multiple devices one of these cables?

  Say if 1 devices full charges up first, will the current going to that device be properly cut off?

    We charge multiple devices at the same time, charging control is done by most devices these days. Your phone or tablet cuts charge to the battery, not the charger. The issue with this lead is that you will split the current across leads so it will take twice as long to charge 2 devices, it's just as fast to charge one then the next.
