Been waiting for this bad boy to drop under $4,000 (just). From my memory this is the cheapest it has been on Ozbargain (please correct me if I am wrong).

Been to and froing between LG C9 and this over 3 months. It is no brainer when you factor in the price difference. With the saving, I can even buy 144hz ultrawide monitor and still be ahead!

    Can anyone comment on the quality of the Q75'in 75-82" size? I'm curious about back light bleeding

      All Samsung TVs use VA panels which are generally good when it comes to backlight bleeding.

      Unless you’re talking about local dimming blooming in which case all local dimming LCD TVs have blooming and the Q75R is the worst in the Samsung line up for it due to it having the lowest number of dimming zones.

      It still has less blooming than a comparable Sony TV due to the way Samsung modifies HDR images to make them dimmer therefore reducing blooming.

    How are these deals found, ive been looking on eBay and this didn't appear in search.

    I've checked all TVs in the category for Bing Lee and still can't see it

        and used coupon P20LEE? this brings it down to $2876 + delivery. I managed to get a lower price at Jbhifi for $2700.

    Really want one of these 82" TVs but was hoping for a really amazing black Friday price.
    Can anyone comment if its worth saving the $1300 bucks and just get the Samsung Series 8 UA82RU8000WXXY 82" RU8000 4K UHD SMART LED vs the Samsung - Series 7 82" Q75R QLED 4K TV - QA82Q75RAWXX?

    For those interested, I bought the 75” from Bing Lee for 3200 just before the grand final this year (bogan, I know).
    No issues with it so far, plays and displays everything I want. Wouldn’t say it has a WOW factor other than looking really nice and no major issues. Once or twice I’ve caught it really struggling with motion and tearing going on (happened while watching F1), but it seems to be an anomaly, as it hasn’t returned and was solved by turning it off and going to bed that one time..
    Blacks look really nice, local dimming seems to do well, and best thing about it (and any Sammy) is the ease of casting from my S10 without any hiccups on the fly.

    Oddly, last time these were on sale, they did post to Melbourne (for free I believe), and when you go to their website, they even crow about now having a Melbourne warehouse!

    I managed to get 75" Samsung Q75R from Jb Hifi after a price match against the Bing lee deal on Ebay at $2876. Jb Hifi reduced it to $2700 for me. May be worth a try and see if they do for more. I attached the receipt on another post, but moderator have closed that post for not being a deal. I went to Chatswood, NSW Jb Hifi.

          I tried JB Chatswood this morning. Beat Bing Lee eBay price on the 82 inch model as well as 75 inch Q80R to $3,700 plus delivery. On the 75 inch Q75R, they didn't go down as low as $2,700 including delivery but plus delivery. Greywine, you did well to get delivery thrown into that price.

    Sort of related. I had a Sony TV in my cart earlier today with the P20LEE applied. Went to buy and it was gone. Along with all other TV's at Bing Lee.

    ninja edit: had to change my address even though I was click and collecting, as they dont deliver to NSW Regional
