$2 Bonus Terms:

  • To be eligible for the AUD $2 bonus, you must first activate the promotion on the activation page, then shop as normal via any store on Cashrewards, excluding Wooloworths Gift Cards.

    Mr Arse, when would I see the $15 bonus appear? (Was a promo email as I hadn’t logged in for a while)
    Said I needed to do it by 26th Nov, bought on 25th and see the money tracking for that but nothing about $15. Is it credited at a later date, I assume so, but also assume it would be mentioned somewhere on my account.

            I have activated the $15 back for $30 spend targeted offer from my email but not used it yet.

            If I go back to that link it says offer already activated.

            Must I immediately start shopping after doing this.

            I thought the offer was "permanently" activated so that I could log out and back in for example and just shop normally.

            Is this not the case?

    I assume the track amount is before GST.

    I think this has been asked before, but can you clarify what is meant by this:

    Cashback is ineligible if you add items to your eBay watchlist and purchase or bid more than 24 hours later.

    This is what I've been doing all this time. I add the item to watchlist, and then move to cart after clicking through rather than using the search function. Does this invalidate the cashback?

      I believe it means that if more than 24 hours passed between when you add items to your watch list and when you purchase them, the purchase won't be eligible for cashback.

      If you plan to buy something on ebay using a cashback provider, DO NOT add the item to your watch list! You can add the item to your cart however for later purchase.

      Meanwhile on Amazon it's the opposite, you can add items to a watch list, but don't add them to your cart until after you've clicked through from the cashback site…

        I took up the $5 SB deal and the $2 CR deal twice. I don't think I'll get any cashback.

        It seems like a silly and very arbitrary rule.

        The watchlist is the best way to ensure the correct item gets added to the cart, instead of needing to manually search and possibly get the wrong item due to 10 million variations by different sellers.

            @tightarse: You gotta get stung once (or 4 times this weekend I suppose) to not be hit by it again in the future.

            I just wish every retailer was consistent with their requirements so it's easier to keep track of what to avoid doing.

            If you have to manually search for it, you can easily get the wrong listing which might be an identical item but different seller, different location, different shipping, return policy, etc. The watch list is there to ensure the correct item is being purchased amongst the sea of sellers peddling the same item.

            EDIT: Does ebay allow you to have the item already in cart before clicking through? If so, what if the item is also still in your watch list at the same time?

    I activated the bonus yesterday then made a big Aliexpress order but unfortunately the cashback didn't track (Unsure why, all my cookies are set right, no adblock, used the Cashrewards extension), if I lodge a missing claim and it's successful do I still receive the bonus? Or am I just pushing my luck? :/

      You don't have any other extensions like Honey running, or software/AVs that have adblock/tracking cookie blocking? Your not clicking out of the browser to look at other tabs or applications after clicking through CR either?

      So Amazon for example. Click through CR, search for item, add to cart, click checkout and pay.

          Yeah you can't have items in your cart as it's not counted as a new order. Either have them in the wish list or search for them.

      Might need to wait longer. Not every company is going to track within 24 hours and cashrewards does state that it takes 1-7 days for notification. From my experience it usually tracks 1-2 days later.

    Are cashbacks tracking slow because of Black Friday!?
    I made a Groupon and Agoda purchase yesterday and neither tracked. Usually they would track in 30 minutes without issue.
