  Not sure why you would want the rechargeable version, just going to be a pain once the battery died. Eneloops are much more convenient and will mean the scales last forever without break-in out a soldering iron or sourcing a battery that doesn't exist

    Eneloops lasts forever and they go on sale every so often.
