As with the sunbites promo last time: simply get a picture of the barcode online and you'll get a $5 Woolworths e-gift card to use.

    • its a generic barcode?

      • You just need to take a photo of the dip's barcode. Looking it up saves you from going in store unless you are already there :D

Is that link meant to go somewhere? I literally see a blank page with a cyan bar at the top.

    • Works fine for me.

      • +1

Works in Incognito mode on Chrome!

        • I'm on Firefox.

          • @Tacooo: You replied too quickly - I couldn't edit my comment to mention that it didn't work on my regular Chrome login.. could be an ad blocker or something.

Note to Op: might be worth suggesting this in your post to try Incognito or other browsers.

          • @Tacooo: Use Firefox incognito

          • @Tacooo: Can confirm works fine on Firefox w/ adblockers

  • Is the link broken? (nvm, I seem to have the same problem as the user above me.)

Woolies voucher for 6 years (up to $100k) of backpay available here*: https://www.aderolaw.com.au/class-actions/woolworths/

*Must have been a salaried woolies staff member - some time since 2014.

  • Didn't work for me as I already took part in the sunbites deal.

  • +1

    Real Mobile number needed.

    • Not necessarily whoever number I used must have clicked the link and when I revisit the website it says I'm all set lol.

They can have the voucher whoever they are

  • Managed to register. But wife's phone can't use.

  • This deal isn't as straightforward as I thought. Once you give your email/phone, you get an sms with a link to a site where you then need to use your phone to scan the barcode of the product, and then it will generate an e-voucher for you.

Sorry folks if you were hoping for a $5 gift card or something lol.

EDIT: Although technically nothing is stopping you from taking a photo of the barcode and using the gift card for something else I suppose…

All you do is use the barcode available for the item from Woolies.

    • -8

Also appears to be once per IP address.

      • +2

Not being able to game it isn't a reason to neg

        • In all fairness if it worked, I would've asked my wife to do it on her phone and it would've appeared to be same IP address.

.. but then on the other hand if you weren't playing at home, then you'd probably have different IP addresses on cellular.

        • Many ISP share ip addresses among users, as well as anyone behind a vpn, quite likely to be using a shared ip address.

        • +1

The neg was because the offer does not work (see below) this post was information provided before that.

  • Can someone please upload one the scan codes?

  • +1

Anyone have a barcode that I can scan to redeem my gift card?

    • PLease share …………tired and lazy to go tonight >.>!

or you can simply copy and paste this barcode number:

      9312726001072

      • Where can I enter this? Only getting the scan option.

    • +1

yeah I did it with this one https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/68238/chri… but it says "sorry couldn't save your mission. You've already completed". I'm guessing it wasn't an aussie or even an English speaker who programmed the service that's handling our personal information. Oh well, Chris Chips contractor in China has my name, number, and email address for free now anyway.

      • ya same :( sorry couldn't save your mission

      • has my name, number, and email address

Should have just done "A" and "B" for first/last name + burner ph number (catch, amaysim, etc) + burner email + VPN = privacy

        • The next time I try to scam one of these offers I'll be sure to use fake details.

    Try this https://cdn0.woolworths.media/content/wowproductimages/large…

However for me it comes up as already completed

    • Same. Already completed :(

  • +5

"Sorry, couldn't save your mission. You've already completed."

    • +1

      Same….

    • +2

Same, got that after scanning the barcode.

      • I got the same as well.

  • Not working for me

  • The link doesn't work…

  • +1

Won't scan, stood in woolies holding dip to my phone for nothing

  • +5

Out of vouchers already. Joke of a promotion.

Gotta remember to deliberately NOT buy this brand in the future.

  • 1800 clicks and no successful reports.

    • +2

I guess this is what happens when we let newbies with no comments/history bait us with a front page freebie into giving up our personal data for nothing.

      • I’m guessing there was some level of sock puppeting. The website is a social influencers website so they must get kick backs of some kind from all the clicks.

        • +2

I also note the Op didn't mention associated with the deal in their post but given they've apologised for no more vouchers, I'd suspect they are more than just a random new user who happened to find this deal and thought they'd share it with the community out of the goodness of their heart.

    • -1

my friend and i managed to grab a few. definitely worked.

  • +1

    It doesn't work
Did I just trade my privacy or download some virus or something?

  • +10

Going to go to Woolies now and eat $5 worth of Chris's Plant Based dips. If anyone says anything I'll show them this thread.

I'll pay for the Ritz though.

    • I'll pay another $5 just to watch this.

  • Already completed

  • gave my details (email+ph) for nothing :( Horrible

  • I see Op has changed the link, used my work phone and email to try it again (since my original email/number are not permitted to participate) and after scanning the code, same "Sorry, couldn't save your mission. You've already completed."

Meh, gave this more than a fair share of tries to prove it's legitimacy. It failed.

  • Taking mods a while to catch on here.

  • +1

Would be nice if OP simply expired this deal considering they are online now.

"Sorry, couldn't save your mission. You've already completed"

    Doesn't work.

    • then why upvote?
      just saw you revoked.

    • OP: "I can feel my hit counter rising."

  • This is probably only for new Social Soup app “customers” for those who are getting “already completed”…

    • +1

New phone number, new email, same issue.

  • +2

If anybody wants a REAL $5 voucher https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/501104

    • "This deal is now expired. Thank you to all those that participated!"

  • Doesn't work

  • Just worked for me.

    • New no. and email?

    • Didn't work for me just then, 'already completed'

  • -1

    Association

  • Didn't work f..Says, 'already completed', Looks like FAKE , Hope they will not use the phone numbers for spam texts or mail.

  • +1

I was just able to scan and get voucher

    • +1

Thanks…I got two and couldn't get any more. Maybe some IP address tracking to only allow one per IP address.

  • +2

For anyone still interested, I shot social soup an email and they happily gave me my $5 woollies gift card. I explained to them that when I tried to submit, it said "sorry couldn't save your mission, you've already completed". They replied saying, "Thanks so much for reaching out! Unfortunately, we had a bug where the campaign had thought the mission was already completed. We've now fixed this issue for you and you should now be able to claim your voucher through this link." The link worked and I got my $5 :).

  • +2

    Works now!

    • Yep still works fine. Make sure you're scanning the plant based dip not the normal ones.

Or just use the barcodes in the comments.

  • It works at least for "new users". I unsubscribed from the old email address (unsure whether that's relevant) and the scan button doesn't even come up (I never even attempted it the first time). I take back all the things I thought about Christopher's Dips but didn't say.

  • Works for me, I used the same number as I did with sunbites promo but unsure about the email. Happy I got the gift card, unsure why so many people are having troubles.
