Reference blower, but with some undervolting temperatures and noise should be manageable.

I got the ASRock version of this a while back for around this price and works a treat once I flashed the 5700 XT BIOS on it and undervolted it. Only downside is that it is super noisy, but I wear closed ear headphones so it doesn't bother me too much.
You upped the performance and THEN undervolted it oO?
Nice, this is my plan too. Can I ask: did you tinker with the fan curve, and how are temps after the BIOS flash and undervolt? Cheers! :-)
I have the reference 5700XT and havent had any issues with noise. Your mileage my vary.
Bit of a worry when you have to undervolt a brand new card to get acceptable noise output…
AMD have upped their game in the CPU market, but obviously their GPU's are still better heaters than GPU's…
Look to the watts for a rough estimate at how much heat is generated. The noise is due to the single fan spinning fast to push air through the blower-style cooler, and blower coolers such as these can be useful in smaller cases where airflow is minimal inside the case so it requires to pull air from the outside across the heatsinks and out the back.
Other manufacturers produce the 2 or 3 fan coolers that are noticeably quieter and maintain a better job at keeping the card cool.
