PLATEAU

Hi all,

For those who missed out on the last deal on the Mate 30 Pro (or aren't an eBay Plus member), here is another hot offer on the flagship that has everyone talking. Previously the Mate 30 Pro was available to only those who have received an exclusive registration code from Huawei, however we've received a allocation that is available to the public.

To take advantage of the current eBay coupon, for the final price of $1394, you'll get a Huawei Mate 30 Pro, Freebuds 3 Wireless Earbuds & Cocoon HD CCTV camera. There is free delivery with eBay Plus.

Please keep in mind that the Huawei Mate 30 Pro does not come with Google's apps on-board, and uses Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) instead of Google Mobile Services (GMS).

To get the deal, please add the Huawei Mate 30 Pro (Space Silver), Huawei Freebuds 3 (Black or White) & Cocoon Camera to cart. The discount will be applied at checkout, and then apply coupon code PLATEAU to reach the final price. While stocks last, very limited quantity available for this deal.

Huawei Mate 30 Pro Key Features:

  • 6.53 inches OLED display, 2400 x 1176 pixels
  • 40MP + 40MP Camera + 8MP + 3D Depth Sensing Quad Rear Cameras
  • 32MP Front Camera
  • Huawei Kirin 990 SoC
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB on-board Storage
  • 4500mAh battery + Huawei SuperCharge (Max 40W)

Is it easy to install gms on this phone? It’s hard to live without google apps.

      Check XDA developers

  • I keep wondering how much the exclusion of GMS would matter to the average Joe. I know it'd drive me nuts without - certainly wouldn't drop $1,400 on a phone without even an OPTION to have it

    • for those who want an easy way in, just download an app transfer app then bluetooth google play app, gmail and map onto huawei device and it should work

shareit app works on google play, download it on your android phone, send google play store to your computer, or directly bluetooth it to huawei phone and it should work

      keen to know your experience

What about Google Safety net? That's the hardest one to not have. Netflix, banking apps can't work without it.

      • I've got no issues with sideloading and rooting - I wouldn't buy this as it doesn't have/likely will never get Lineage, which is a prerequisite for me - I'm talking about the average Joe.

The comment below would be a big thing for them.

ahhahahahahahhah obliterating your warranty immediately after getting a new phone is a great idea you do that

my method doesn't require rooting, by sending the whole app over from your old phone, it sends the app apk so its like loading an app into your phone

    • Google apps are apparently quite easy to install. Saw an article the other day that shows how - NO ROOT required, just a PC and couple of apps.
Only issue appeared to be lack of Safety cert for banking needs.

I've already got, and happy with my Note 20 so no interest in the 30 or the "in the works" 40 series.

I purchased one and decided to cancel the order, due to lack of banking apps (not being able to get it working). Mobilciti was great in cancelling the order without fuss.

They're going to have to come down in price if they want to sell this outside of China without Google. The most I would pay is $500, and even still I'd have to weigh it up against a Mi Mix 3 or Mi 9T Pro.

It even has a notch. What is this, 2017?
