    The 4" cable includes the connectors so this is really even shorter than you may think. I bought one to use in the car but it's too short even for that.

    I wish they had 8" cables.

    Anyone know if there's a good 1-foot/30cms cable or thereabouts? Cables are always either too short like this one or too long like 1m or above.

    Just need something for the car which can reach from the 12V power plug up to the console, which is no more than 30cm.

      Short USB extension cables cost about $2, use those to extend the Amazon 4-inch cables to a usable length.
