I know this post has been flying around last 2 days.

Some of you have issue with over-charged $157 instead of $143. I'm struggling with it either. I bought one and they charged me $157 (but I already make a claim through Paypal)

Today I try again with Code SPEAKER20, but i don't know what it does. Price now even goes down to $101.97.

Please note: voucher codes are case sensitive.

Method 1

What I did. I install Honey add-on into Chrome, when adding speaker to cart and use Honey, It drops down to $101.97 by itself. Wondering if this is price error. Pay with PayPal.

Method 2

Open two tabs to the deal. In tab 1, click Buy Now to add product and go to cart. Switch to tab 2 and go to cart. Enter coupon code HOLIDAY15 and apply. Switch back to tab 1, enter coupon code SPEAKER20 and apply. Proceed to checkout and pay with PayPal. (Thanks to OO.)

    Ordered at 1:40pm on the day of posting. Haven’t contacted Bose at all. Paypal showed authorisation for 3 days and money had been taken out of my bank account.
    That paypal transaction and payment disappeared for three days, then just tonight at 2:20am, my bank account was charged the $101 amount and Paypal finally showing it as a “Purchase”.

    Anyone else have this? Hoping to get a tracking number in the morning, or for it to show on my AusPost App.

    Got the email to provide with new payment details, which I did last week. No email from Bose, nothing in Australia Post. Hopefully the money is not lost.

      Happened to me. Called again today and was told the first time I had called - that order also ran into issues. Provided payment details again and got an order reference number (I had not taken the order ref number last week when I had called). Checked my Credit card online and did not see any transaction from Bose for last week but today's one is showing as Pending. Now will check daily to make sure it's posted and does not drop off.

    Weird, I paid on the day via MasterCard Direct Debit and checked my bank today and it looked like the amount has been declined (placed back into my account) for the 'ACOUSTIMASS 10 V BLK' $974.35 but when I review my email, today I finally get a TAX Invoice from BOSE for that amount $974.35. I am completely unsure of what to do and I really don't want the speaker package anymore as I has found something far superior.

          If you get the speakers despite getting your money back just get in touch and return it. If you don't get the speakers you don't need to do anything. What's so difficult and confusing unless you are planning on keeping something you haven't paid for?

                @Duplicity: Let's be clear - I need a HTPC speaker package and are in the process of buying one.

                It was a pure impulse buy and I got caught up in the OzBargain excitement and when I saw HOLIDAY15 + SPEAKER20 both coming off the initial price (from $1499 to $974.35) it was incredibly hard not to go through the motions, and I did.

                The last week has allowed me to do some proper research and the package I am considering buying "Yamaha NS-555 5.1 Speaker Package ($1499)" is far superior and I am certain to get many years out of it.

                    @Duplicity: I have already had the funds returned to my bank account. To be more specific the charge kept bounced along from the 10.12.19 uptil the last date I noted being 16.12.19 whilst not actually being processed. This morning the account had increased by that amount and the charge simply disappeared and no trace in my account history. When I called Westpac last week they said if it was not processed after 5 days the transaction would be declined.

                    I am confused by getting a detailed invoice today of BOSE dated for the 16.12.19.

        They arrived this morning and I just asked the Aust Post bloke to send them back. I am now going to contact BOSE and tell them so. I am not going to try and play some game with BOSE and assume that I got a free set of speakers.

        Damn I have just noticed the charge has again appeared on my bank statement after disappearing.

    All re-orders done on Friday should be dispatched on or before 19th Dec (just got this info from Bose chat) and you can use the old order number to validate.

    When ringing up to do the whole verifying of order etc, has anyone tried (and succeeded) in ordering more than the number of items they initially placed their order for?
    eg. ordered only 1 x mini Soundlink at $101.97 via this voucher hack, but then when ringing them to verify later, tried to up this to 2 or 3?

    Was told to charge it to my card as there's an error with PayPal. Was supposed to be processed right away..

    4 hours later, I've yet to be charged. I think I'm one of the one that has missed out.. I can't believe I have to go thru so much trouble to get them to honour a purchase.

    free for $79 (paid by debit card). No status on soundlink mini but got delivery of soundsport free today and I just checked that the charge has disappeared from my debit card.

    A few days ago when I spoke to someone on chat they said that my speakers would be delivered on the 16th December. I haven't been delivered anything yet and this morning my pending transactions have disappeared from PayPal and my creditcard.

    Received tracking in AUSPOST yesterday afternoon (~16:00).
    Received tax invoice this morning (01:30).
    Processed through facility, arriving later today.

    Ordered on 4:15pm, Tuesday 10/12. Followed up with one call to prioritise my order.

    Anyone else struggling with their second transaction? Seems as though they keep trying to reprocessed the second payment however keeps dropping off after a few days. Perhaps they are limiting this to one fulfilled order? Second order was for a Home 300, first a soundlink mini (received).

      i was in same boat as you - soundlink all went thru paypal and delivered fine.
      2nd order (mins after the soundlink) for Home 300 went AWOL, so i reordered on phone with CC and should arrive tomorrow.

    I'm wondering if anyone received two speakers?. I initially ordered the speaker at $140. And then I cancelled the speaker purchased at $140 then went ahead and bought it at $101.40.

    The speaker that I bought at $101.40 arrived first and everything was ok. Then suddenly 2 days later, the speaker that I bought at $140 is coming today.

    I checked my bank account and the transaction that indicated $140 to Bose has disappeared so I'm not sure if I have been refunded $140.

    Just received 4 SoundLink minis. 2 black and 2 silver. The pending charge is only $203.95 so looks like they've only charged me for two. If this ends up being the case I'll call up and pay for the extra 2 as I respect them for honouring it.

    I have a new $101 transaction back in my PayPal account again and Bose sent me a tracking email today with shipment expected this afternoon. Scored my first one after the $143 deal and now this one is coming through so I guess I'll be flogging one off on eBay in the coming weeks.

    There were many naysayers here saying Bose wouldn't honour the deal, but haters gonna hate! :-)

    For those people who are in the situation where they have provided cc details to bose but haven't seen any progress…

    The bank cleared the funds but Bose never took the money. I provided them with the payment details again and was given a new order number. Hopefully, it will get through this time.

      Might be in a similar situation. Gave CC details Monday 16, and then again during a live-chat 30 minutes ago. During the live chat, the agent gave a new order reference number and advised that a new confirmation and tracking details will be sent; haven't received any emails as of yet.

        I provided the cc details last week after receiving the email. Up until yesterday, I was told that the order will progress and will be delivered this week. However, there was no email from them. After calling them today, they said that the order got rejected as it was somehow linked to the original order.

        I have reordered today and now is again a waiting game.

          I am exactly in the same situation. I called on 13/Dec/2019 and nothing heard from them until today I called to find out my order is cancelled again. I provided CC details and placed new order again. Hope they get it right this time.

          I called them last week to provide my cc details but didn't receive any shipping information.
          Called in yesterday they said it's all good. Order/Sales team will email me shipping details in 24 hours
          Today I called them and they have another story saying that cc payment was cancelled. So I gave them my cc detail agaim and got a different order number.

          Advice to everyone, if you haven't received your order/update, better give them a call.

            I don't have high hopes, but thought that I'll provide the cc details and will wait for the order again.

            If it's cancelled again, I will be done with dealing with them.

    Just listening to mine and I must say…. I'm rather disappointed by the sound quality. Tried it in a number of different rooms / corners / against walls. It simply tries to output too much bass for the unit, as soon as it starts to pump out bass the mids and high completely disappear. This is not good for any sort of music with bass. Vocals sound lovely on it but for a $200 unit ( It's on special price) my Megaboom 3 absolutely destroys it in all aspects (which you can get for $200 right now). For $100 it's not too bad but you'd be mad to pay $200 for it. Maybe it'l sound better with time but at this stage i'll be looking to flog the lot on ebay and purchase something else as gifts haha.

    Definetly do NOT buy if you like EDM, hip hop, etc. The moment the bass tries to kick in, the vocals and highs get completely recessed and this is at like 70% listening level. I'm hoping I can find a sweet spot somewhere where the sound is a happy medium but it's not looking promising! haha

      I'm with you on this, it's good for the $100 category but I'd be extremely disappointed paying double. It's like each part in a track on it's own is very good, but together it's just muddled. It struggled a little on some of the metalcore stuff I was listening to.

          Testing the Megaboom 3 vs it in a lot of different musical genres and the Megaboom 3 just sounds cleaner and much more open overall. The boom sounds nice when there's not a lot going on eg vocals etc, but as soon as bass kicks in all other frequencies take the back seat. I'll probably end up selling all 4 on eBay and buying something nicer for my mum.

            @bxpressiv: Some music sounds really nice on it. I'm probably quite an audiophile and very picky with music haha but the main reason for buying them was for gifts so they might me quite happy with the sound.

    Got mine yesterday :) download the Auspost app to see if there’s a delivery coming. I never received a shipping confirmation But it did show on the app thanks to someone’s suggestion here.

    Well after a phone call and web chat alerting Bose that I'd only had $203 pending versus $407 on my credit card for 4 Bose minis and them both telling me it's fine , you'll get 4 minis I've finally received my invoice and low and behold $50.99 per mini is the charge price. Guess I got lucky !

    ok, this looks like it not meant for me.

    called friday (since i got the email asking to contact them), everything ok, order has been processed, nothing to do.
    chatted on 17/12, order got cancelled because paypal, and provided cc and got charged. i was advised that an email and tracking number will be send soon.
    no email no tracking number
    chat again today, order was rejected. WT…. They said they need credit card again. no way.

    I have decided to wait two weeks, some problems going on at the moment.
