I know this post has been flying around last 2 days.

Some of you have issue with over-charged $157 instead of $143. I'm struggling with it either. I bought one and they charged me $157 (but I already make a claim through Paypal)

Today I try again with Code SPEAKER20, but i don't know what it does. Price now even goes down to $101.97.

Please note: voucher codes are case sensitive.

Method 1

What I did. I install Honey add-on into Chrome, when adding speaker to cart and use Honey, It drops down to $101.97 by itself. Wondering if this is price error. Pay with PayPal.

Method 2

      I'm on chat right now and there wasn't any wait at all. I just refreshed the contact us page again and the button is gone. All I can say is persistence is key.

    My case (similar to many others) - Original paypal order issue. Then called on Friday and placed manual order with same price. Credit card showed pending and after waiting till today with no email confirmation etc called them only to find out that phone order also ran into issues. So did it all over again - provided payment details and got an order reference number (I now see that its the same order # which was in the "issue email"). Checked my Credit card online and did not see any transaction from Bose for last week but today's one is showing as Pending. Now will check daily to make sure it's posted and does not drop off. This was for Bose 300 speaker.
    Big thing is that I was connected with associate as soon as I called - no wait time today for me.

    EDIT - Want to ask this question to anyone who has both Soundlink Mini II special edition and 300 - which one is better?

      The same happening here, I have to create order again and again. I can see the credit card payment showing pending and they are saying order is not moving for some reason. Oh man, with all this stress, is this worth it?

      I also have a JBL Charge 3.To be honest, I actually prefer my charge 3 as the the bass from the bose gets too heavy and muddy for certain songs where else my charge 3 sounds more controlled..maybe there's something wrong with my Bose speaker? I spent like an hour comparing the two side by side.

      Having said that the bose vocal sound better and clearer when there's no bass around. But overall prefer my charge 3. Maybe I need to get use listening to the bose more.

        Bose definitely goes muddy when there's too much bass but it's good on songs with not a lot going on.

          Yeah damm,thought there was something wrong with my Bose unit considering all the good online reviews. I've already update the firmware and bass is still muddy. To make things worse , Im not usually a bass person, usually prefer the vocals and mids/high in music. If only there's a bose app to ease the bass level…

              @montorola: I stream with spotify app these days since its so covienient to listen to a variety of songs so never play around with any equalisers. I do however have my own collections of offline songs which I can play using Poweramp pro. Might give it a try and tweak when I can be bothered.

            @username999: I know when I tell people this they think I'm crazy, but when I bought my Bose headphones, I was super disappointed because it was just such bad quality when I turned up the volume. But literally, over time…they just got better and now they're the best headphones. I listen to all sorts of music and the headphones awesome.

              @Cloudie: I own a pair of QC35 (1st Gen) and love the quality which totally convinced me to get this. I actually use the QC35 more than my desktop senn HD650 since its so light, portable and comfy. Also love the sound signiture of it. Wish I can say the same about their speaker counterpart. Will give it more time to adjust to my ears lol.

        I'm definitely more of a fan of the JBL cylinder shape/design, which provides more of a "360"sound.

        This is my first non-JBL product, and I have to remember to elevate its position rather than keep it on a low bench (tall bloke here).

    Has to chase it up like 4 times. 3 times was all BS excuse until the fourth when I said I'll stay on the phone till the payment is processed and surprisingly.. they were suddenly able to do it right away.

    But have missed the boat for Christmas thought so.. oh well.

    Read that the bass isn't the best for it so let's see if I shouldn't have bothered.

      Update 1.0.8 fixes an issue with the speakerphone functionality when declining an incoming call from the speaker that would result in a loud noise.

    I just got off the phone and they confirmed my speaker is on its way. I haven't received the Tracking email yet but the customer service officer assured me it is dispatched from their warehouse and expected delivery date is 27 Dec. Merry Christmas to you all~

      Bose is known for its buggy software - my bose soundbar also had issues - updating the firmware made it less buggy but sometimes wifi connection is dropping.

    In case some reads this in the future. This model doesn't come with a wall plug or a charging base. Only a USB c cable.

    I am not sure why they go rid of this as there are the pins for charging pins..

      Yeah, Special and Limited editions, two different contents. Lack of charge dock is slight annoyance but not deal breaker for me.

      I'm more surprised at the lack of after market purchase abilities for it. :( Plenty for the round revolve speaker :(

    A bit disappointed with the 300. The google integration is poor (probably my fault, should have researched more). Google doesn’t see it as a speaker.

    Only work as assistant (asking questions)

          Haven't tried to play from either as have no subscription, will try once home. Not entirely sure what you meant by the difference between "a speaker or just an icon?" :)

          It's listed as a device in a room, and when selected it goes into device settings. In settings, under the General heading, it has Name, Home and Room. There's also an option to unlink Bose Music (app that comes with the Bose Speaker). It also states that it is connected through Bose Music, Manufacturer, and Device type: speaker. So is this an icon or a speaker?

            @assailantsky: I meant icon to explain that it is not a speaker as such. You cannot up/down the volume or add it to a speaker group. You cannot turn it off neither.

            Using assistant you can say “turn off bose”, tho

    Long story short, Bose let me take the products as per the pricing errored price.

    Called them on the 6th and 7th of Dec to do this and could not get through after 1 hour of waiting time..lol

    Called them again today - Got my mini @ 101.97 and 300 @ 159.97.

    Disappointed to hear that i cant really use the 300 as google speaker?… but its ok a bargain deal anyway.

    Equipped with more than enough speaker for my life.. thanks OP and BOSE.

      The bass on this are non existence.

      Mid Range and all are clear and very crisp but very disappointed in the bass section.

      Won't have paid for full price, that's for sure.
