    Obviously they didn't sell out.

    • its staggered delivery, so if it sells well, we can sometimes order more, such as this case, sometimes we cannot, but if demand is there, we will always try to source more

      • Hi rep!you said Limited to 10 per customer.what is your best price if i order 10?

        • $399, this is the best price, if you cant get it for less, please let me know,
          offer ends 1pm AEST tommorrow.
As always, we will try to source more, but no gaurantee, the perfect storm only rarely occurs.

can you bring back the Lenovo core i5 $399 deal?

    • no more stock on this
      cant source more

      • What about i3?

        • Is the Lenovo i3 laptop is a better product than this?

      • We were offered some more in different colours, but the buyers here at MLN stuck with the black, I know you can get it in some off colours for less as the machines that are not black are not selling as much and Lenovo is dumping the strange coloured machines. We also need to be able to source a reaonsable ammount of stock before we go to market, becuase if we sell out to quick, we upset more people than we make happy. A few criterias have to met before we go to market and its not just price.

        • you have g560 i3 ?

        • We sold out of our G560's, our version had HDMI, 370m processor and balck piano gloss finish.http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/49761

  • so cheap! but its only the video card that's bugging me.
    =(
wish i could get an i3 or i5 around that price with a nice graphics card.

    • +1…..I so wish this was the case too!

How can a 15.6 inch laptop have only 2 USB ports? There's clearly enough space and wiggle room for a third port on the chassis.

    • +1

      Only 2? That's not good…

Even my 10" Acer Netbook has three usb ports.

      • well… a macbook pro has 2 USB ports and goes for 3x this price….. just sayin.

        • +8

yeah but a macbook could have no ports and people would rave about how good it is having no ports

        • +3

with no usb ports Apple would be minimalistic
          lol jk iHater here

        • +1

I think its a minor issue, nothing a $10 USB hub cannot fix, plus a lot of high end machines only have 2 ports anyway

    • +1

My Toshiba lappy has 2 X USB plus a combined USB/eSATA connection and I still feel the need for a hub!

  • +1

This is a pretty good deal, but I have to agree with JxToF, we need a deal on a laptop that has a dedicated graphics card, even something basic (ie the Radeon 5450) for maybe $449.

  • this is amazing price. my crappy compaq dual core celeron with 2 gig ram and 320gig hard drive stung me $330. wish i had waited longer

    • You can always get a better deal if you wait longer.

But I would be waiting for a better deal then this one.

  • +1

Should definitely feature some 13.3 or 14 inch laptops in the next bargain buy!

    • noted, I suggest you follow our other deals, they do happen in 13 and 14"

  • +1

Yeah plus another for a decent graphics card… might even forget that I really want USB3 on my next lappy and jump in if the price is good.

  • +2

I bought one of these from MLN a few weeks ago, but for $499 with 8GB ram. It's a good no-frills laptop…bit plastic-y but a good workhorse.

    How is this?

    Lenovo ThinkPad Edge for $399.

Is ThinkPad a better product compared with Toshiba Satellite?

    Unfortunately, pick up only.

    • We had the same model in black for less, you should be able to get this for less in this colour.

      • I am happy to get from you if you have stock or plan to get stock.

        • we are tyring to source more, but at the moment non in black are available, the purchasing team does not think Red will do well so we skipped this offer, we have to buy a lot of stock to get a good price, and in the past 15.6" machines in Red have not sold to well.
Toshiba is the exception to the rule, maybe because their colour is Red, like Ferrari, but I don't many Red falcons or Commodores sell to well. Its the safe colours, like black, silver and white.

      • u should post that as a deal then cos that's a better laptop

  • Is this offer still available after 1pm on the 9th in store?

    • No it is not, this offer will end at 1pm, bargain buy of the day runs from 1pm to 1pm every day

  • +1

I would buy the ThinkPad from CerterCom if they had the colour black. Waiting for MLN to source better deal. What I need: i3 or i5 (SNB will be greet) good video card(dedicated video card with 512M or more), 7200 HDD will be good, HDMI, eSTAT 13"-15" LED, Bluetooth, Wireless N, Integrated Web Camera, 1000Mbps TX Ethernet.

    • less than $450

  • crap , miss it
