MacBook Air (2019) Retina Display 128GB $1444.15 256GB $1699.15 + Delivery (Free with eBay Plus) @ Wireless 1 eBay

PLATEAU

Original Coupon Deal

I was looking for one of the new Macbook Air's for my GF's son for school next year. This struck me as an excellent deal for local stock from an Authorised Apple reseller.

Looks to be available in all 3 colours (Grey, Silver, Gold)

Specs on the configurations and colours on Apple's site here

Personally think that the 256GB upgrade is a bit of a rip off but hey, that's Apple for you.

Don't forget your preferred Cashback/Qantas referral option for a few dollars back/points.

EDIT: Looks like my calculator had an aneurysm when I first worked out 15% off $1699. I've fixed with the correct price of the 128GB model, 256GB was already correct.

  • Littlest miss entropy extremely happy with her gold MBA 256 GB bought around this price a couple of months ago.

Becareful with the seller. Bought same Mac book air on Blackfriday with estimated delivery date of 9th Dec. After sending several messages, replied they expect it will be dispatched on 10th Jan and hope I understand the delay( it was not a pre-order and the estimated delivery date on my ebay still says 9th Dec!)
    Still waiting for refund.

      same here, no delivery yet

That sounds terrible. I have never had any trouble at all with wireless1, very fast delivery in fact, but then again I wasn’t buying a heavily discounted MacBook.

    • I also have an issue with them. Ordered an iPad Pro. Delivery date was changed until after Christmas. Called and asked why. It is because they are selling on eBay although they don't actually have stock. They called their suppler to find out when they would get stock (whilst I was placed on hold) and they were not getting stock again until just before Christmas and I would not be able to receive my order until after Christmas. Not much use to me as it was going to be a present (original estimated delivery was before Christmas). Asked for a refund last week whilst on the phone to them and again in a followup eBay message. Still waiting to receive a refund.

    • Check your email, I got the following: "Thank you so much for ordering with us. We wanted to let you know that due to our Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals being so hot we had a record number of orders. We already brought on extra warehouse staff for the event, but with the sheer amount of items to pack and send, our systems have been slowed and unfortunately, there is a backlog of orders waiting to be sent.

Rest assured we will work as fast as humanly possible around the clock to get your items to your door and chances are your order has been processed and most likely is already on its way as even tracking emails are experiencing delays.

Thanks for your continued patience. Some customers didn't receive their invoice, for convenience we've attached your invoice. Please don't hesitate to contact us if there is anything else we can assist you with."

Sounds like they got a severely Ozbargained…

I've ordered MacBook Air from these guys 3 weeks ago. Before Black Friday. Doesn't seem like the item has even been shipped yet.

Bought from this seller. Got MacBook in a week. Au stock. No problem.

    • When ?

      • Hmmm about two months ago

  • Don't forget your preferred Cashback/Qantas referral option for a few dollars back/points.

    Shopback:
As of 28th October 2019, Any purchases made with the use of Coupon / Voucher Codes are not eligible for Cashback

    Cashrewards:
Important: Cashback is ineligible if discount coupons or promo codes are applied to any transaction.

    Qantas Mall:
Qantas Points will also not be earned on the purchase of a gift card; where a gift card or voucher is used as a payment method (whether for full or part payment); or where a coupon or discount code is used (unless that coupon or discount code is valid and listed on Qantas Shopping).

    • I saw that when I did it this time via Qantas. Wondering if it's new. If they're applying it basically makes shopping on Ebay via Qantas useless.

  • "Personally think that the 256GB upgrade is a bit of a rip off but hey, that's Apple for you"

No kidding. A Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD 250GB is about a $115 and a 500gb is $150ish. $320 for an extra 128GB… Though I'm more surprised Apple are even selling a laptop with a 128gb drive at that price range.

    • Agree 100%. Not sure if it's possible to change the drive yourself though?? I deal pretty exclusively with Windows laptops, only get these Macbook things for the kids.

    8th gen i5 Y series for $1300? Wowee…

    • The joys of buying from Apple. It's still $300 less than the Macbook Pro with the same specs.

Hopefully my son will remain happy with his Dell Latitude and not suddenly want one of these things. He likes Android not iPhone so suspect he'll continue to prefer the Dell.

  • Be wary of seller, wanted to pull the trigger on a laptop from them but I've seen quite a few people comment on their shipping times and stock…

  • Ordered a Macbook 16" from Black Friday sale, delivery took 8 days.

  • dual core and DDR3 ram for that price? Jesus christ on a bike, people actually pay that for such old tech?

    • On paper all windows laptops are cheaper with more performance but none of them will have Apple's standard of quality in almost every aspect of the laptop! This comes down to the force touch trackpad, case design, build quality, display quality, 16:10 aspect ratio, speakers etc.

And I'm not even an Apple fanboy! I moved to a Macbook Pro 16 after using Windows laptops for the last 10 years or so and think I won't be going back to a windows laptop again.

I still find it hard to believe that none of the Windows laptops have a trackpad that's even remotely comparable to a MacBook (Pro).

  • I just asked them about the shipping time. Was advised the following:

No worries, for your order it is expected to be dispatched by today or tomorrow. Since you are in NSW it should arrive to you 1-2 business days afterwards so estimtaed delivery date to you is between 19th to 23rd December. (If there is no delays in delivery)

    Fingers crossed!
