Posting my first deal. Hope no one has beat me to it. Got an email last night notifying of the price drop from about $1000 on Amazon AU to $958. Confirmed this is the current price on the website.
Probably the cheapest I've seen this one.
Unfortunately I missed out as i took up a recent deal for a Prism White model with Goodguys eBay store 😞

  Just bought a second hand one for 800 but is was a US unlocked version SM-G975U1 with SD855
  Still trying to figure out if it has all Optus LTE bands lol

    Sd855 is heaps better then our Exynos variant so I still reckon your a winner for that alone!

  Had this since release date, this phone is fire. Coughed up a bit and got the buds and watch active also from their respective day 1's, and the overall experience has been pretty great. bravo for samsung in 2019

    As someone who is currently having a terrible time dealing with Samsung support, be very careful with the watch's back glass where it meets your skin. Mine somehow broke (no idea how, noticed it when taking it off charge).

        Took it to the store, escalated to Samsung to see if they could do it under warranty, they quoted me 260 because they found water damage after opening - likely would have happened before the back glass broke but can't prove it. I had it returned unrepaired to assess my options (I.e whether to buy new). Took it back to store, store said pay 120 for the glass and the rest might get covered so did that. A week later they send me a quote for $540. At the moment arguing with them as to the different numbers and because they keep promising to call back and never do.

        So yeah, has really damaged my opinion of Samsung. There is very little goodwill.

          @sheepdog: pity Amaysim stopped selling grey import phones. I bought a S8+ from them in Nov 17 for a great price at the time. They provided a 2 year warranty covered by themselves. Twice in the two years ( and recently as 2 months ago) I have had major repairs completely covered by warranty by Amaysim with no cost to me and no hassles. First time screen ( burn in) replaced and usb port( intermittent not charging) replaced. Second time microphone (callers say cant hear me clearly) replaced. Both times repairs were flawless with oem parts and done very quickly. That's how service should be!!!
