I suspect this one is a price error and unlikely to be honoured but hey, it's a good deal?

I’ll give it for free to the first 10 ozbargainer who walks around the city centre shouting “I’m an ozbargainer” for 1 hour.

        • Which area. And city centre. Lol

  • +6

At this price, wnt even bother buying it. Wnt be fulfilled.

  • Ozbargained.

  • +15

Not sure, but this looks suspiciously like a pricing error. Could be wrong though.

    • +37

What makes you think that? It's only a 99.9% discount.

    • +4

Thank you Sherlock for your astute deduction.

  • +8

maybe they are releasing a new model after xmas?

    • +5

maybe they are, but you don't drop the price from $1,488 to $1.49 just to clear out the old stock ;)

      • Ah that makes sense. Cheers

  • +1

    Now showing $1,488

    • +9

  • +7

Couldn't get JB or Officeworks to price match unfortunately (needed to save on shipping costs)

  • +1

do they accept Bunnings gift card as payment?

    • +1

Only if they were bought with officeworks price match, via Kogan, on catch.com.au with cashrewards

  • +1

Anyone ever tried price matching something like this?

    • I think they would just say no. Because it’s below their cost price.

      • +3

More like they’d kick you out of the store and get a restraining order against you.

  • -1

I don’t think it’s a price error. Just heavily discounted product. lol

  • +1

Damn. Was hoping to secure one to put on the passenger seat of my aston martin I purchased for $49.95. Best be contacting the ACCC.

    • -4

What do u mean $49.95? How?

      • +4

What do u mean $49.95? How?

@Doovik: The gold star was for you, I could see you were trying your hardest, and that's all we can ask really.

            • -2

@brendanm: Lol. I just wanted to know if he price matched after or during.

  • +3

    Yeah…

Just got it delivered this morning by a drone….

    • +2

      Buy one get one free!

  • +6

This is a pretty nifty way to drive traffic to your site…

    • +2

      Good way to load test…

    • +1

yeah true and hardly even selling 1?
wonder why so many upvotes and is on top of the page.

  • just about to pricebeat at Bunning

  • but hey, it's a good deal?

    It's a waste of time

  • -1

When your credit card get refunded, come statement time you still need to pay the closing balance including the amount of this refunded purchase.

    • +4

No you don't…it counts as a payment.

    • Sounds like a huge problem covering that $1.49 charge should they even process it.

  • +1

Upvoting simply for the entertainment value!!

  • +2

Looks like they jacked the price, smh

  • +3

This is being done by many sellers to get your details for marketing and free way to market their business.

We all know this is not going to be true still we try.🤪

    • +1

Yep, it's free advertising for ********* on OzBargain. They might actually gain a few unrelated sales out of this "price error"

  • Back in stock at normal price.

  • +2

    good way of attracting customers.

  • +3

Too expensive, I'll wait for the boxing day sale

  • +2

I'm just here for the $250 bunnings gift card

  • +9

Bought 20 but they upgraded my purchase to a helicopter

    • +3

This is fascinating and goes against everything I thought I knew. It makes it seem like once the tax invoice has been done that's it, contract has been made, no takesies-backsies

      • So, just hope you get an invoice sent via e-mail

      • -1

That's a misreading of the case.

Importantly, the applicant was not aware that the price was a mistake (unlike literally every Ozbargain price error post).

  • +1

Your best bet in situations like these is to purchase one and tell no one about it. It is very unlikely they will honour it but it’s almost a certainty they won’t be honouring hundreds of orders when it gets OzBargained.

    • …and thats how we build the ozb community !

    • That's boring though, look at the Bunnings drone, there must have been hundreds of us who got $250 vouchers thanks to one kind soul.

  • It seemed to have worked a treat in getting traffic to their store.

  • +1

Lol, I first saw this expired with 20 votes, now it’s at 60. I’ll bet it’ll reach a hundred or two before I know it.

    • +1

The site rules are ridiculous. Unattenable deals like this are not taken off the front page.

      • Guaranteed it'll be in tomorrow morning's email too.

      • I have no problems with rules, I think human (ir)rational can not be governed by rules,

  • Everyone in hope because of the Bunnings voucher .

But this company can guarantee a 0 .

BTW some companies have honoured ridiculous price stuff ups and supplied the quantities ordered :)

  • Ngl, I came here for the comments not the product.

  • If people genuinely wanted one it’s still avaliable

    • +1

      At full price not $1.50
