You might, but you can definitely get $20 of actual savings if you buy the gift cards online at a 5% saving… 365 days a year

You could have bought $400 worth of gift cards during recent BigW deal and you'd get 8000 reward points. For 2000 points I wouldn't bother.

How would this stack, if at all, with ‘Spend $50 in one shop at Woolworths and earn 2000 bonus points’? T&C’s say ‘If eligible for multiple bonus points offers, only 1 (one) standard Woolworths point can be earned once for all eligible offers.’
It means you get one standard point four bonus points and 2,000 bonus points.
If you've got a 3x points offer then it's one standard point, 4 bonus points for this offer plus 2 bonus points for the 3x bonus points offer.
I've been activating every deal that has come to my email and I've just noticed, pretty much none of them have been credited to my rewards account after fulfilling the requirements. Feel like I'm getting ripped off as I'd probably shop at aldi or coles instead if it wasn't for these bonus point deals.

I hate having to activate Wooly offers… I am a member of the program, I buy and scan my card… That's all… Why should I have to activate offers? That's annoying…
So they can better track your spending habits and the effectiveness of these marketing/promotions.
If the deals are pre-activated it is less obvious if they are effecting someone to buy more or buy at all or if they just happen to be buying by coincidence while the promo is on.
I like to activate offers and then buy nothing. I like to think I’m making a difference.
They could track the items I buy when I scan my card… That's fine, and should be good enough… I go to Wooly at least once a week, and I am getting used to checking my emails before paying… I don't change the items I buy but sometimes I don't activate the offers (because I forgot or didn't have time to check my emails before paying)… If I spent $300 this morning, I should get 5x Rewards… But I guess I have to keep checking my e-mails and OzBargain every time…
I thought I had to say merry Christmas and happy holidays. There is no way I'm doing that for 5 x extra points.

Do not be upset. These offers of x 3 or x 5 points are relatively useless. I earn the vast majority of my points though the bonus offers such as spend xxx for X wweels and get 10,000 points.
