  • There's no mention in the exclusion list that Subscribe and Save voids the cashback. I have taken a screenshot in case this changes mid-deal.

    Cashback is not qualified for:
    - Items added to cart before clicking through ShopBack
    - Returns, exchanges & cancellations
    - Purchases made on the Amazon Australia Android app
    - Prime membership purchase, Kindle Unlimited, Mobile Apps, Audible, Echo Accessories, Kindle Accessories & Travel electronics are not applicable for Cashback
    - Purchases of gift cards and the usage promo codes or Voucher codes not approved by ShopBack

Also no mention that it is limited to 1 transaction only.

So I'm assuming it's ok to make multiple purchases of Subscribe and Save?

      This is what I see

      • I see this too!

        • I saw the first lot of conditions earlier (I was like no Android App tracking??????)

Now it has refreshed to the second list.

    • Confirmed with gotyourback that sub are not valid :(

Here's a screenshot I took about an hour ago (11:46 Brisbane time). It wasn't there when I ordered.

Upon checking again now, it looks like they have updated.

    • +2

      It will take 75 days!

      • +3

        Redeemable in 75 days.

  • +5

I can confirm on behalf of shopback & rep (gotyourback) that multiple transactions are eligible for cashback.

    Me:

Just wondering if the Amazon 12% cashback is eligible for multiple transactions and not just 1? I have already made multiple and just want to make sure :)

    Rep:

Yes it's multiple - any transaction limits will be explicitly stated like we have with Liquorland and First Choice Liquor today.

    • +1

      Thanks!
      Made 3 orders already :)

    • Does that mean the $50 cap is for each individual transaction or is it including all?

      • -1

You can make as many transactions as you want but the total cashback across all those transactions is $50 max.

        • +5

Just spoken to chat. They said the $50 cap is for per transaction.

  • Ordering actual Kindle is ok? I notice Accessories excluded but what if order has Kindle + Accessory? (there is currently promo ordering Kindle + cover)….

  • Is it live now?

    • +1

      yes

  • What about international items that are available through through the AU site/app for prime members I.e the lodge cast iron pan? Are they valid for cashback? Couldn't read any exclusion in the app. It's says AU only but they are available in the AU search.

    Confusing.

    • Any purchases from Amazon.com.au are eligible including those sold by Amazon US

  • 8TB WD Elements HDD $192.08 after cash back.

  • Can anyone comment on my situation below:

I bought something recently from shaver shop using shopback. The item has since dropped in price so I contacted them about it and they have refunded the difference back into my payment method. Will this invalidate my cashback from shopback or should I be okay seeing as I haven't actually returned the product? Cheers.

  • -1

so no cashback if you are a prime member?

    • +3

afaik you get cashback, but you just don't receive it when purchasing the prime membership itself.

      • thanks

  • Sad no xbox one s with games

  • Does cash back apply if you use zip?

  • Does this apply to Amazon US through Amazon AU?

    • Yes. It applies to any purchases made through Amazon.com.au

  • Have yet to receive confirmation from Shopback - slightly worried.

    • It normally takes several days (3-4) to get confirmation.

    • Same boat here.

  • I got my notification it has tracked from shopbaack about 15 mins ago

  • +1

Mine has tracked as $0 on $199 purchase. I clicked through to Amazon from the Shopback app, added to cart and checked out. Not sure what I did wrong. Should I cancel the order and try again?

  • +1

I just received an email regarding the amount of the cashback, but it seems I only got 11.3% instead of 12%. I did take into account the GST though.

    • did the item have delivery charges?

      • Nah, I have prime subscription since November last year and the items I bought were sold by Amazon AU.

However, I did get the correct amount for the items that I bought when they did the same 12% cashback a couple weeks ago though so not sure what's up with the one they are doing today.

        • +1

hmm that’s weird. In my case cashback was quite correct when i minus gst and delivery cost. Maybe hit up a Shopback rep

          • +1

@I Smell Pennies: Yea I did sent them an email about it, but it seems it's gonna be awhile until I get some answers since it's shopping season.

  • Just received email confirmation for my $400 purchase - $0 cashback. Shopback systems need a fix ASAP.

    • Did you get this fixed up at all. Got the same thing or should I cancel my orders?

      • +2

On the website itself it shows the amount as "Calculating". It took them a month with previous Amazon promo to come up with correct figure. The biggest annoyance with Shopback is that you yourself need to keep records of every purchase you expect the cashback from. The missing cashback report usually works, but I guess there are many who simply forget and that's how Shopback makes money.

        • People who are organized keep track of everything, especially finances should not have an issue. It's not that difficult to create a speadsheet or plain text notes with dates/purchases/notes of purchase where you can go back to check.

If people CBF doing that, its their problem.

You want free money but are worried of a mised payment, you need to do a bit of work sometimes, meaning keeping track and detailed information.

I was offered a $10 welcome promo when I signed up - make 2 purchases within the month to qualify. This was missed by Shopback & I inquired about it. MOney credited within 24 hours, so yes, mistakes happen, keeping track of thousands upon thousands of orders by their system would be quite a task & expect to be 100% mistake free.

  • Just to add to the chorus of people getting confirmation of 0% cashbacks, I just got email confirmation myself of a 0% cashback for an item I bought that was around $90 and was supplied by Amazon US, but bought on Amazon.com.au

  • I can see that Kindle accessories are not included in the cashback.

Anyone know if the Kindle itself would be an accessory?

  • I received an email for $22.74 cashback on an item I bought for $199, so the cashback did work for my purchase :S

    • I purchased 2 items and both were confirmed.

  • Bought some shoes, a 3DS game, and some Mega Drive controllers. Lets see if this tracks.

    • All tracked! Woot!

  • My cashback should be $5.20, shopback only has me at $2.65 pending including one at $0.
So 6% cashback for this transaction 😤

    • -4

make sure you read the small print, it's UP TO 12% cashback. The actual amount depends on the items now eg Video Games - 3.50% I think the all eligible categories part of the deal is over.

    • Err.. Read the title of the deal

  • 2 transactions have tracked for me. Amounts appear correct with in a few cents.

  • +1

I brought 11 items in 3 separate transactions with total expected cashback of $85-ish. As usually happens with such cashback 'deals' only 4 low value purchases from one of the 3 transactions were 'tracked' amounting to total cashback of just $5-ish
So ~$80 worth cashback disappeared in thin air. Such a sham Shopback. Worth a neg for the fake and misleading promotions. Wondering if others experienced similar issues with multiple transactions?

  • I bought 4 items and they got split into 3 separate orders. Shopback says "Returns, exchanges and cancellations of orders will invalidate any Cashback earned from those orders" so if I cancel an item from from the order that has 2 items the cashback for the entire order number will be voided but my other two orders will still receive cashback?

  • Did anyone make large purchases and got their tracking ?

    • Mine was about $100 and tracked
