  • Do you guys consider this is a great laptop for data science/analysis/engineering work?

currently still using a macbook pro 2013 late and x1 carbon 4th generation, am looking for a decent laptop for use in next 5 years

    • If you don’t need a graphics card and you do non cpu intensive works then this is good.

      • I don’t think analysis/engineering work and non cpu intensive go together

        • +1

Considering the commentator is still using older cpus and still works (which colling is not that great on both laptops) I would call that non CPU intensive

  • Are they updating with 10th gen processors soon? Details were released in August but it looks like Australia missed out.

    • skip this gen until they update the line to 10th gen processor down under

      • -2

10th gen processors were released in Aus a while ago and are shipping in devices now.

  • +4

Looks like there's a mistake in the listing.
The screen is actuality FHD and not WQHD for this item model number.

  • May I know what is the generation ?

  • hi is there any cash back offer ?

    • Click the cash back button under go to deal

  • This is the older 7th gen with 8th gen Intel processor. The US Lenovo website has been selling the 7th gen with 10th gen Intel processor (10710u) for some time now. Hopefully should see this filtered down into Aus soon.
