    No B28.

      No deal!

      No wireless charging

Wireless charging is a big call on a phone under AU$400, even grey import.

B28 on the other hand is pretty common in many phones sold locally $70+.

agreed on wireless charging at $400.

          • @mckayver: You can get a Lg V40 new off ebay for $393 if your happy getting a thin warranty

which has wireless charging in a good phone. Other than that can get some

Chinese phones with wireless charging even under $300 I re-call for grey stock

but forgot the little known brand lol.

            • @ozhunter68: I have a mi max 3 and was planning on upgrading to mi max 4 this year but it's delayed until mid next year. The max 3 is a great phone so I don't mind.

  • Pretty sure it's cheaper on Alixpress..

I loved this phone when I got it at launch.

    • Do you still love it now?

Once you use such a large nice screen as this, hard to go back to smaller.

Have you received a Android pie Update yet/at all maybe?

      You could be missing pocket-ability ( if your a guy/other lol ), and/or even B28/700mHz Band.

Yep, I have a mi max 3 with a 7 inch screen and no way I can go smaller now. Battery is 5500mah.

I had it for 3 months and moved to something else.

Certainly not hard to go to smaller display so long as its above 6", but you will definitely notice it if you went down to a 5.8" like an iPhone 11 Pro or Galaxy S10e.

The absence of B28 didn't cause me any issues at the time.

The device was very decent once you played with the settings and deleted the bloat, I paid $800 at the time.

It a much better phone over the mi max 3 especially with the AMOLED.

        • Cheers for reply.

What phone have you moved to since then, or every three months so maybe two phones agao lol ( I switch phones often too for a change, but at the lower $200-$350 range ).

The Honor Note would want to be better @ $800 than the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 at around half price then, even with Amoled screen and double the ROM, double the price.
