    Got one. Extremely happy!

    Gearbite have great customer service.

  • Hi, How does this compare to the Roborock S6??

    • +3

      Hope this helps
      https://m.gearbest.com/community/eb9eTO

From price point, I will buy 360 S7 value for money.

S6 more expensive by AUD300+ for just a little more benefits. Not worth it IMHO.

      • +1

The S6 is more advanced than the S7? How do they do their naming conventions?

        • +1

both have completely different manufacuter. s6 by Roborock. s7 by 360

        • +1

The s6 is a roborock. Different brand

        • Different company roborock s6 vs 360 s7

      • +1

That's not really a fair comparison site though - it's from a company trying to sell the 360 S7

      • This is still almost $170 more than the roborock S5. I mean it's all about paying a bit more to get tiny upgrades.

  • What are its dimensions, specifically its height?

    • +1

      35cmx35cmx10cm, Heigh around 10cm.

  • Ordered. Thanks!

  • I've got the original mi robovac, and it's good. It's enough for my unit
Was going to get an upgraded version for my girlfriend's place, with 3 kids, is this the best?
(With value for money there too)

  • +3

I bought this during the previous offer.

Very happy with it in general. I’ve never had a robot vacuum before but have been impressed with the mapping, object avoidance and it’s ordered cleaning.

The app is ok. It’s a little laggy but the ability to edit the map to create areas/ virtual walls is good.

The mopping feature isn’t that great (though I’m not sure whether that the nature of robo vac/mops)

Overall I’m very pleased with the 360 s7 and for sub $600 I would purchase it again

    • +1

360 keep update their App, if you have any suggestion, please send message to me or contact them directly. I am happy to pass your suggestion to 360 team .

      • Thanks for that, a couple of suggestions:

A “spot clean” feature where you can mark a point on the map and the robot cleans a 1.5x1.5m area around that point would be good

Also when it mapped my place I had the laundry door closed and now I can figure out how to make the robot add that room on to an existing map (rather than scan the whole house again (as I’d have to recreate all my rooms and partitions if I rescanned the whole house) so a feature that allows the user to extend an existing map would be good.

Oh and if there was some way to adjust how much water the mop released that might improve that feature too as at the moment i can get the mop do much more than the equivalent of wiping a mildly damp paper towel over the floor.

Anyways, thanks rep for being so responsive

        • +3

Noted. you can use zone clean instead Spot Clean before they add that feature, if you want to add a previous closed room to the map, you can manually move robot vacuum to the room ( Robot vacuum have accurate Positioning function) , it will add new room to the Map automaticly. I will pass your spot clean and a feature that allows the user to extend an existing map to them.

          • @Gearbite: Can you please pass on that the app is slow.
And can they release an API so that we can integrate into local smart home applications eg homeassistant

  • Sorry. My autocorrect seemed to convert “can’t” to “can” a couple of times.

    Apologies

  • I've got thick pile carpet which the s5 doesn't work on.
Just gets stuck and goes around in tight circles.
Anyone know if these newer versions are any better?

  • Does this work with alexa?

    • Yes.

      • Can I ask how? I've bought one but the app doesn't have anything to connect to alexa?

        • Looks to be the following:

Enable Smart Skills on Alexa App.
          In Skills, Search for 360
Install the Skill called "360 robot vacuum cleaner"

          Voice commands are:
"Alexa, start/pause/stop cleaning from vacuum cleaner"

Generally GH, Alexa etc requires to know what your smart devices are, not the other way around

      • Can I have multiple units supported by the app and supported by Alexa commands?

  • If I buy now when will the product ship? Just curious as I am going away soon and it will depend where I have it sent

    • If order today, will ship tomorrow.

      • Thanks ordered, have been keeping my eye on this for a while due to your recommendations. My gen 1 has been going strong that I purchased from you about 3 years ago

  • Hey op any deal for xiaomi 360 global edition? Need 2-3

  • ordered thanks. Please ship tomorrow

    • No problem.

  • Does this provide any worthwhile benefits over the s50?

    • Multi-Floor Smart Map (Upto 10 Maps)Management.
      Smart Room Mapping.
      Mop Off-Limit Area.
      Auto Switch to Mopping mode.
Smart Schedule Clean supports specified Room cleaning and selected zone.
Location Tracker Means that you do not need to start from the Dock.
Better docking (find effective way back to the dock even if not started from the dock.)

      • +2

360 battery is nearly 50% less than the S50 (3200 v 5200) but the 360 has a larger dustbin and water capacity.

  • +6

Has Google Assistant support been added?

    • +1

Nope and it's the only thing stopping me from buying it! But for most it's probably not a deal breaker.

      • “Hey google. Start the vac”

Your saying that’s a deal breaker??

        • +2

Not having to use the app and being able to say "ok google, cleanup the kitchen" if there's a spill for example.
It's a convenience feature and only a deal breaker in the sense that other good robot vacuum's have it built in so why pick the one that doesn't when it's a feature that I want?
Like I said, probably not a deal breaker for most people though.

  • Been hanging for another deal on this! Thanks Gearbite!

  • How long will this deal last?

    • I don't know but you should consider anything without an explicit promo date period specified, that is an item that sees ebbs and flows in stocking levels (e.g. it's not a bottle of coca cola) that it will always potentially sell out if you don't stop thinking and just start spending and sort out the issues after the fact once the smoke clears.

  • Alright ozbargain braintrust, I've been hanging for a deal on an approved model/brand of robot vacuum and haven't had time to research it beyond that a lot of folk swear by the roborock. Here goes nothing based on the number of votes and the vibe in the comments.

    • +2

Except S7 is 360, not Roborock. But apparenty it's a no brainer for the price point because I ordered one as well~!

  • when is the 15% discount valid until?

Also I have timber floor as well as carpet in my house and the part of the floor which is carpeted is slightly higher than the timber floor, I think by about 2cm. Can this robo vac climb this height?

    • Can climb up to 2cm.

  • +1

Any way to order some parts with this that deteriorate over time? potentially brushes or the mop?

  • Showing as $678.78 for me. Maybe deal has finished.

    • Please use coupon code SSV151 when you check out.

      • Thank you. Ordered now.

      • Will I be receiving a tracking number soon ?

  • +1

    Hi Op,
Are its accessories available? Spare brush, filter and mop?
    Thanks

    • Yes, will list next week.

      • Can you please DM/PM when you launch accessories deal? Thank you!

      • Please let me know too.

  • How is this unit for a home that is fully carpet and lots of pet hair

    • Pretty good, we have a Golden Retriever who sheds constantly.

The dust bin is smallish and needs to be emptied at each recharge if you haven't vacuumed in a few days (this might just be the amount of fur Rufus produces).

The hair also gets wrapped around the roller, its fairly easy to cut off though.

  • Was very interested in purchasing this but this company is dodgy. They stole virus signatures from a competing antivirus company…

    • Yes they also were caught sending information to Chinese government, but honestly the reviews of this vaccum is top notch but risk that it maybe spying on you

  • Is this recommended for a house with dog hairs?

    • Yes! I have long haired dogs and cats and this picks up the lot.

  • Ordered. Great timing too. Wife's been bugging me for a good deal. Great price too. Thanks OP.

    Hey rep,

With the 60 day money back guarantee. Does that mean if I opened it and used it for less then 60 days and decide I don't want to keep it anymore, does that mean I can return it for a full refund? Please clarify. Thanks

    • +1

Yes. If you not happy about the product, you can return in 60 days.

      • Thank you. I ordered based on your answer. I'm very sceptical of robo vacuums, so hopefully it works well and I keep it. Otherwise, I'll be returning it under your 60 day return policy.

  • Hi rep.
I have purchased original Xiaomi robo vacuum V1 from your store, and it has been fantastic. I want to get a new one with mopping functionality. Do you recommend this unit worth upgrading for mopping? The original vacuum is awesome for vacuuming. Thanks

    • +1

This is a different brand to roborock (who made the original Xiaomi) - battery capacity is half the capacity of the current roborock lines (s5 etc).

  • w

  • purchased based on the good reviews here, discount, and ability to return if not happy within 60 days (hopefully it works fine!)

  • Ordered late last night and shipped/got my tracking now 👍

  • Just missed it, will this go back in stock anytime soon?

    • +1

still have some stocks, please feel free to order.

  • +1

Hi rep, is the 60 days money back guarantee an ozbargain special? Because the website says 30 days.

    • 60 days.

  • @GearBite: Hi, not selling it through eBay with the discount?

    • Ebay only 5% discount now.

  • If setup up correctly on the map.
Is it smart enough to sweep carpet first, then sweep and mop the tile floor?

    Thanks

  • How does warranty work? Where are you guys based.
Considering purchasing but worried about warranty.

    • 12 month warranty, we base at melbourne.

      • Any idea when google assist will be supported?

        • Have not have any update regard this.

      • Your website says 18months

        Warranty: 18 Months Domestic Warranty

        • 12 months warranty, tyre wrong information.

          • +1

@Gearbite: Considering my roboking has lasted 7 years you'd hope this one would last. ACL warranty would probably expect three years for these devices?

  • How many mopping pads are supplied and where can I buy more?

    • One pad in the box as received. Have not tried this, suspect its more of a 'drag' than a mop as its not actively moving the cloth surface beyond the unit driving around.

  • Firstly - great unit. Mapped its way around and did a great job climbing over rugs, low window sills and even a raised tile surface ~ 5cm high (it will back up and try on an angle to get up 45 degree slopes)

Question - is there a way to tell it to build a new map to support a second area? I am finding the unit tries to build a new map over the top of the old map with some random intersplice. Feels like its missing something to specifically tell the unit this is a new area, don't try to use the last map? 10 maps is tricky if you have to build one to wipe it to build it again for each location.

    • It will map your ground floor then generate map, you can also can generate first floor Map. You need to start from your dock and then finish at your dock as well, map will generate automaticly after you finish full clean from dock and then back to dock.

      • It did the ground floor fine; moved dock and unit to first floor and it made an overlay of the first floor map over the ground floor map — not a new map (and yes - both times it was allowed to run the full cycle returning back to base). I can only assume something about the first floor room looked like part of the ground floor so it tried to build an 'update' to the map relevant to that point.. but given there is no option to say 'new map' I don't see a straight forward method to avoid this.

        • Hi, When you do first Floor mapping, please choose cleaning full house, please do not use specify the room which have smart map, It will generate new map after fully clean from dock and then back to dock.

  • Does anyone know how to delete a room? The robot has mapped an area outside through a glass door as a room but it is really the verandah. I could block it off but the fact the room is there is annoying. Other alternative is to close the blind when it maps but it may then pick it up at a later date if the blind is open

    • Have the same question - extra rooms appear through windows. Rep do you have a developer contact who would like some feedback on software improvements? Can also see an opportunity to improve cleaning efficiency through better map optimisation…

    • If you have right map, you can apply right Map that does not have extra room. Your advice has been passed to 360 team.

Received the vacuum from Gearbite, shipped fast so no problem. Thanks!

I now have both the Roborock S50 and this 360 S7.

    notes about alexa support:
The 360 S7 has the most terrible ever Alexa Skill. I successfully linked the skill, but the invocations are terrible and aren't working.
"Alexa, start cleaning from smart cleaner” is incredibly unnatural to say.
With the Roborock it appeared under my devices in the Alexa app near instant once enabled. I was able to easily set a routine to be "Alexa, start cleaning" & "stop cleaning". Roborock Alexa setup was effortless without issue.

Saying the base invocation for the 360 S7 app "smart cleaner" triggers and gives me a summary about the vacuum cleaner so that at least works. Also I only speak english and everything else I tell Alexa it understands no problem.

    https://www.amazon.com/%E4%B8%89%E5%85%AD%E9%9B%B6%E7%A7%91%…
360 needs to seriously rework their Alexa skill its honestly just terrible.

    notes about the dock:
The 360 S7 parks in reverse against its charging dock, so if your vacuum parks against the dock to charge which is against the wall you are awkwardly opening the bin from the wall side.
With the Roborock S50, you have a plastic mat which attaches to the dock and it charges from beneath the bin conveniently faces you to open when docked.
The Roborock is definitely more secure and sturdier imo, the cable bin thing the 360 has is quite nice but not a major convenience add.

In terms of the other features and the 360 app itself compared to the S50, it definitely appears to be more feature rich as per the summarized table.
