News.com.au has pretty crappy content on a regular basis. Eg.
- Bikini/G-string news.
- Kmart news.
- News about Instagram influencers.
- New about 'hacks' eg egg peeling, garlic peeling
- Random news about Kim Kardashian, Madeleine McCann etc.
- How some shit is 'dividing' the internet.

it's just a glorified blog with a good domain name run by people pretending to be journalists but are nothing more than bloggers aiming for the most clicks. Seriously click any random article if it's not spelling mistakes, its missing words or entirely wrong words where they have tried to copy and reword other news sites.
Or they have an interesting photo in the thumbnail but not in the article.

As others have said, if you really want to know what the latest status is without biased commentary, ABC is the only option.
It's coverage has been nothing short of amazing, with journalists based in lots of different towns and areas around the country. I know they have a role as the national broadcaster for emergency warnings etc., but the way they have approached this has been very impressive.I've also been looking at The Age site daily, but it isn't very informative in my view.
