Got this offer on both my Qantas Discover & Velocity Escape cards. Limited to 30,000 cards, so might go quickly.

Hopefully, like previous offers, it can be used to buy gift cards at Myer.

Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $200 or more, in one or more transactions, online or in-store at Myer by 05/02/2020 to receive one $40 credit. Limited to the first 30,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.

      I actually found few around 3 PM on Monday at level 5 at Sydney CBD store but they must have hidden them as when i went there today there were none to be found.

        I don't think they hide them. I was on leave 5 on Tuesday at lunch time, I saw just under 20 gift cards left. someone took 5 gift cards out of the 20 gift cards. I think Myers ran out of gift cards.

    Just spoke to Amex about another matter.

    Only just over half of allocation of this deal have been taken up

    Amazing people don't want 20% off food or fuel.

      Yes, but I think many people do not look up special offers and those that do may not realise that you can get a GC that can be used at Coles, Target, Kmart, Shell, Officeworks, Liquorland and First Choice. It could also be a comment on Myer. Plus I am always amazed about how many people cannot be bothered to save money if it involves any effort at all.

        I have no idea how the targeting works. I got this offer in December and used it on all my 10 cards and now again. It has been suggested that if you did not use/get the Vogue offer (I did not) you got this one in December but now a second time is great. This is an excellent offer for me as I can make savings on everyday spending, unlike Vogue which although enabling higher $ saving could only be applied to limited number of everyday spend retailers. I wonder if I again do not participate in the Vogue night I will be more likely to get an offer like this.

      Myer Melb CBD has heaps near The Hub (click and collect counter?), I just picked one up. It's on the same stand as normal Myer gift cards but at the bottom of the rack.

      I haven't received the credit email yet though…

          I got some gift cards on Monday and there were few more left when i left the store but today i could not find any coles myer gift cards at sydney CBD store. Kicking myself for not having my supplementary car on me on Monday

      Correct. I got one yesterday from the level 5 hub and there were about 5 others left. Went back today with my wife’s cards and there were only Myer ones.

    For those of you who got this and redeemed it last month, and got it again this month, has your second purchase triggered the credit? I just placed an order at Myer this morning, and haven't gotten the confirmation it was triggered (usually get it the moment the credit card is charged).

      Out of my 10 cards using this offer the 2nd time, all have received the credit but only received 3 emails. Used the offer on 10 Jan and credit is dated 12 Jan.

    I was getting desperate at Myer, Eastland. There’s a shit tonne of Myer GC on every level but Coles Group were much harder to find. There’s maybe a dozen left, they’re on Level 1 near the “Pay Here” desk at the “Myer Hub” near menswear.

    Just bought 5 Coles Myer cards today at MYER Sydney CBD. There were plenty of cards at the MYER Hub (next to the kitchen appliances, level 5). The sales assistant was very helpful and quite happy to split payment across multiple cards - I just preferred to have multiple GCs.

    Just bought 3 by $100 DJ Gift cards inc 10% extra value ( with other goods) at Coles using Coles/Myer Gift Cards.(20% off value)

    Ie. bought gift cards with gift cards.

      you can easily do that if you are not splitting payments (i.e have enough to cover the whole amount on the GC) I bought iTunes (20% off) and the other day redeemed for opal at nearly 36% off ( 20% on Coles/Myers and the rest under a Flybuys offer). Other members have also successfully bought coles pre-paid MasterCard (can be used anywhere) when there has been a 2k flybuys points offer, effectively more than covering the $5 upfront fee.

        Withe the 20 $200 Coles Myer group gift cards I purchased 7 Coles Mastercard GC ($105) in December and $50 (bonus 10% loaded) this week enabling me to get them all at the self checkout as the full cost was covered. 36.6 % off on David Jones.

    Never bought one of these gift cards before. Can the gurus please answer a couple of questions:

    1. There are two types of gift cards: Coles gift cards and Coles group & Myer gift cards. is that right?
    2. Can you buy both cards at Myer or Coles?
    3. Are Coles group & Myer gift cards better than Coles gift cards? That is, do more businesses accept Coles group & Myer gift cards than coles gift cards?

      1. At Myers, there are Myer gift cards (only use at Myers), and Coles Group & Myer Gift Cards (use at Coles Myer Group stores - Myer, Coles, Coles Express, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars, Kmart, Officeworks and Target).
      2. You can buy both the cards at MYER as per my answer above. You can only get Coles gift cards at Coles.
      3. Coles Group are much better for the additional stores.. Coles gift cards can only be spent at Coles in-store only.
