You dont get cashback for the sub and save

    • Thanks, I've edited the post.

    • I thought you got it on the initial purchase but not any subsequent purchases?

      • +1

        nope.

        • Thanks

        • I just received my cashback notice from Cashrewards for the initial purchase of a subscription to these Curash wipes. Cashrewards works.

          • +1

@Morven: It might be not allowed after it goes through

            • @Turd: There's no way I'm gonna remember to report back in 3 months about whether it went through or not. But I can say I've been using Cashrewards with Amazon subscribe & save ever since subscribe & save began (which I think was more than 3 months ago) and the payments seem to have gone through. I've never had a Cashrewards item disallowed yet.

  • Flushable?

    • +1 asking for a friend

      • +3

        Storage Instructions:
DO NOT FLUSH. DISPOSE OF THOUGHTFULLY.

      • +12

Says "DO NOT FLUSH" on the packet, so nope

Just as a side note, even "flushable" wipes tend not to truly be flushable. I'd avoid them if you want to look after your plumbing.

        • I'd avoid them if you want to look after your plumbing.

          No bum pun intended

        • +2

Agreed. From personal experience, I highly recommend to not flush even "flushable" wipes. Just don't.

    • +2
      • Shit is literally gonna hit the fan with that one mate =p

    • -1

You can't flush pretty much all baby wipes so a strange question.

    • I’ve always flushed baby wipes 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s been 7 years and no problem yet

      • -1

Smoked for 10 years, don't have cancer

  • +5

Coles are also selling for $16 atm

    • thanks

    • Nice. Get flybuys/glasses points with a purchase from Coles too.

  • You can still use Shopback/cashrewards, just not on the subscribe and save option.
So with 8% from shopback, brings it down to ~$14.70 as a one off.

    • +2

Not quite. It is minus GST so $14.85 😉

    • Beg to differ. I went with subscribe and save on these Curash wipes, and I just received my Cashrewards notice.

      • they track it, but it might take them awhile to confirm (or otherwise) it is legit.

  • +3

Actually save much more by getting the subscribe and save 15% instantly and simply unsubscribing !

Also don't have to worry about being tracked or not .

  • +2

Do these have an expiry date as such? Do they "go off"?

    • +4

      Yeah, don't do that.

    • +4

This attitude is why I rented my house out for 2 years and only broke even.

It's why I will not own an investment property again and recommend to people that they don't either, unless the dwelling is ok to be abused.

Mate, it's your attitude that creates a market where the landlord is totally unwilling to spend money on the house or help a tenant unless legally required.

BESIDES that, who knows if your practice has an effect on wastewater treatment or anything else.

TLDR: Try not being useless and just put them in the bin.

      • -1

Well, when i have issues that have been raised with no resolution - I'll do what i please.

    • -1

That's ok, it's your bond that will cover any rectification required :)

    • -1

Tenant that cause lots of trouble, just increase the rent ?;)

  • +5

Still a rip off compared to Aldi wipes. https://www.aldi.com.au/en/groceries/baby/nappies-and-wipes/…
    6 x 80 pack for $8.99

    • +1

Not to nitpick but the Aldi ones aren't water-only wipes, they are just fragrance free. "Contains vitamin E, aloe vera & chamomile"

      • +2

Is it better or worse? Can't wrap my head why wipes dipped in just water would be more expensive than one with additives…

      • This one not either:

Water, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol

      • Not to nitpick as well, but these are not 100% water either, it says on package 99%.

    • +2

while a big fan of aldi, the curash wipes are 10x better. i find the blue aldi ones to be too dry and i feel i use more wipes than the curash. the only 'wet' aldi ones are the green packaged ones.

      • Open the aldi packet and pour some water in, they'll be wetter then. Problem fixed.

  • Does the subscribe and save stay at that price, or do you just get 15% off whatever price they jack it up to next time the delivery comes around?

    • +2

do you just get 15% off whatever price they jack it up to next time the delivery comes around?

      This.

And considering they appear to be matching Coles, I would assume the next order would cost more.

    • +1

“While the price of an item can change from delivery to delivery, as prices naturally fluctuate, Amazon does not change Subscribe & Save order pricing without notice, nor does Amazon cancel orders because of a price decrease,”

  • -4

MADE IN TAIWAN and not Proudly Made in Australia!
Ordered 1 but cancelled once I found out.

    • Still miles better than being made in PRC.

    • +4

Lol, there will be alot of things which you won't be buying if you only choose Made in Australia.

    • +6

You know Amazon is an American company right ?

    • The phone or computer you’re using to post that wasn’t made in Australia either. Whatcha gonna do?

    • Only idiots don’t get my point,

    • this is just an error on the amazon listing I buy these all the time and I have one in my hand right now and there is nothing on the packaging about taiwan

  • "dispose of thoughtfully"….ha ha

    • +1

      Rinse and reuse

  • +2

FWIW All my subscribe and save purchases (which I cancel once receiving) have tracked through SB so far, interesting to see if they do pay out. Just my experience.

  • I literally use dry tissues from tissue boxes to wipes my kids bum from poo first and then some splashed with water from a water bottle to finish it off and then a dry one to dry it off.

    • Ideal solution. Cost effective and good for environment.

    • Huggies use sodium benzoate which is equally as bad! Nothing like using dry tissues with a dribble of water but I’m yet to come across a person willing to do it 😇

      • +1

You can use water spray and soft cotton rag. You can reuse rag if Ur keen

  • +2

Just my opinion after trying a few baby wipes (aldi, coles, woolies, curash, huggies etc etc.) ….

Dri Bots from Target work best for us. $9 for 480 pack. Packed well so only one wipe comes out, and does the job well with 1-2 wipes.

    https://www.target.com.au/p/dri-bots-baby-wipes-48-pack/5943…

  • Currently unavailable , pls fix the title.

    • Please use the report button in future to report expired/out of stock.

      Thanks

      • +1

        sure mate , will do

  • +1

    One 240 pack still good - https://www.amazon.com.au/Curash-Water-Baby-Wipes-Pack/dp/B0…

Which is probably better than 80 pack, unless you take the 80 pack in your fany pack.

    • according to the description:

-Pop up re-sealable pack with secure clip, 3x80pk

  • Fragrance ones are better…but up to you

    • +2

Fragrance often cause skin rashes, allergies and can cause hormone disruption…but up to you…

      https://ireadlabelsforyou.com/hidden-ingredients-in-best-bab…

      • I don't believe those so call research been using Fragrance one from Curash never had issues. Go ahead pay for the water ones that's your choice. I have my own choice too

  • +3

Review: I used these 99% "water" wipes on my (female) nether regions and they burned like a mofo. I don't know whatever is in the 1% chemical component but it's not something I'd want to use on a baby let alone if they had a nappy rash. These have been relegated to tasks like wiping my dogs feet and cleaning the bathroom counter top.

    • +2

That "pure water" label is simply a lie. Almost all brands are 99% water plus 1% chemicals and this one is no exception. I posted the ingredients in another comment.

WaterWipes brand is the best one we've tried (it's water plus grapefruit seed extract).

    • It wasn't refreshing?

    • +1

Can confirm, it burns. The "Simply Water" label shouldn't be allowed.

      • Agree, that term is totally misleading.

  • 6x 80 pack (240) is still showing available for me - In stock 16th Jan..

    Can pre-order at posted price..

  • How do people make this worthwhile considering delivery cost? Has everyone subscribed to Prime?

  • I buy a fair bit from Amazon, subscribe on a month to month basis atm. For 6.99 per month it pays for itself the first thing you buy, then you can have things like roll on deodorant delivered to your door in 2 days for free.

  • +1

I have bought these packs a couple of times and are good in the sense that they are moist and strong enough…Some good info that I was a little blind towards was the chemical used in manufacturing of these products, so thanks to those who have highlighted. I have since conducted my own research and came across some good info as a starting point for those wanting to know a little more about the wipes you may be using: https://www.hellonaturalliving.com/best-baby-wipes-cheat-she… I'll pass on these ones this time and give one of the more skin friendly ones a shot :-)

    • After reading this I'm tempted to make a complaint about Curash to ACCC for deceptive conduct.
