Thanks mate, added to the post.
Not sure if it's dependent on your employee, but QLD Health came as a 9% discount

      • Yes , its employer dependent…varies

        • Would they cross reference against the employer if you were to use Corpadidas?

          • +1

@nightelves: Probably not until you need to make a claim

            • @welfoj: Do they check whether you work with a particular employer before processing a claim? Don't think so.

  • Time to move funds

      For an Adidas gift card?

      • +2

Yes, Adidas seems a bit specific. Wouldn't one prefer a Rebel gift card or something?

better than paying same money and no adidas gift card?

  • needing extra cover only… E- gift card terms: Must maintain eligible cover for 40 consecutive days after the policy start date. E-gift card could take up to 8 weeks from the policy start date to arrive by email.
i take i can drop down to extras only after two months ?

    • I read this offer for hospital and extras, not extras only.

      • yep. i meant sign up for hos+ext and then drop down to just extras after the 40 consec days.

        • +1

you can completely cancel your policy after the minimum period is met.

  • What if I couldn't find my employer? Can I use another company's name?

    • +3

Wait till you need to make a claim (big amounts), they can reject your claim due to false information

  • +1

Crap company though, I was with them for nearly 20 years and had an accident and they refused to cover it. Good thing It was emergency surgery and the public system fixed it quickly. Will never give them another cent.

    • What was the reason they gave?

    • +2

hmm.. I've had incredible experience with them for private health and travel insurance.

i feel like your story is missing some crucial details. From memory, all "accidents" should be covered.

care to share the reason they rejected your claim?

      • I was at a martial arts class at the time. I wasn't sparring with a person at the time but copped an elbow from someone who was sparring with someone else (all unintentional) that shattered my orbital floor. They argued because it was during a contact sport that it was not covered even though I was not even participating in the sparring. Regardless it was an accident and despite having an accident cover I was not covered. I possibly could have pushed it but the public system was willing to anyway.

  • Better to ask for one month free..it's actual$ saving.

    • Just FYI Bupa currently has 1 month free

      • -1

        6 weeks free mate ..

        • Can you confirm whether 6 months is with Bupa or Medibank?

          • @vr4indian: If you sign up with BUPA over the call or F2F, you can ask for 6 weeks of free cover and they will happily accept it and apply it to your account once you pay your 1st month..

        • What did I say wrong here? Why negative vote? Oh is it because I am helping the community…

  • Could not verify the promo code with ADIDAS as code

    CORPADIDAS is working though

EDIT: somehow got to the Corporate site, starting over fixed it

What is stopping me from signing up, having some major dental work done, then cancelling the policy? (assuming the waiting period really is nil)…

    • You could do it in theory, but you'll have to check whether your dental work falls in the 2/6 month waiting period category.

Some dental work sometimes has a longer waiting period, and this won't be covered by the promotion.

    private health = ok boomer

  • Did anyone notice that the it's more expensive after the corporate discounts ?

  • Has anyone signed up and received their Adidas voucher? I’m assuming the “up to 8 week” waiting period means 8 weeks on the dot, but thought I’d check.
