These are even worse with "must use whole voucher in one visit"

I got those too. "1 game for $5". When we got there, they wanted $5 per person, which was not the advertised deal at all.

I had problems using the $5 vouchers. Barcodes couldn't be found on the system. In the end was offered a refund from AMF.

Gratuity not included? This is Australia. Gratuity is never included!

I would be very surprised if Americans tipped for a bowling game.

They probably think you should pay extra to wrap your hands around their balls…
Though I think that's what they do to the customers

You can get $15 for 3 games at most branches on Thursdays or Sundays after 8.
I wouldn't pay $7 for a game. =/
i went to highpoint amf bowling a few weeks back, they had 4 games for 15 dollars,
if i remembered right it was on a saturday night =)
If you are an "AMF Roller" ie signed up for their free card…
"Bowling games for $7.95pp all day every day when you buy online"
So not a great saving.Just buy they when you want them and book right away.

Given they have had $5 games quite a few times and I paid $7.50 just 3 days ago. Not a biggie deal. For $7.50 deal booking wasn't needed(at least not In Tuggers)

Screw AMF. Did it last time with the $5 prepid vouchers (bought 8 of them). Every time I got a chance to go they made a different excuse why we couldn't use them. No public holidays, OK fair enough (I guess). No school holidays - even though we were there at 11pm and the place was nearly empty. Not allowed to use them because we rang up and reserved a lane first (ended up we cancelled the 'reservation' and acted like walk-up customers…). In the end we tried 4 times, got to bowl once, and 4 of the vouchers expired.
OzBargain needs two vote buttons. One for the deal (this would be a plus) and one for the product/service/comany (this would be a neg).
