Nulon "Start Ya Bastard" Instant Engine Starter (SYB) promotes easy starting of all diesel and petrol engines (both two-stroke and four-stroke). In searching for a name for this product, we could not get away from the three words most commonly used to describe a difficult-to-start engine "Start Ya Bastard". We trust you will not be offended.

Nulon's SYB high potency, highly concentrated, highly flammable formulation is designed to instantly start difficult-to-start engines. Of course an engine has to be in sound condition and tuned correctly for it to start at all. However, there are many reasons why an engine can be difficult to start, such as:

Petrol Engines

  • Old or stale fuel
  • Low battery condition
  • Poor choke operation
  • Cold ambient temperature
  • Insufficient engine cranking speed, particularly on manual start engines such as motor mowers, small motorcycles etc.
  • Engine has been sitting idle for a long time
  • Frail people who are not strong enough to pull a start cord quickly enough
  • Initial start after repair work

Diesel Engines

  • Cold ambient temperatures
  • Faulty glow plugs
  • Old, stale, or out of season fuel
  • Low cylinder pressures
  • Low battery
  • Initial start after repair work or bleeding fuel system

There is nothing more annoying than an engine that refuses to start. Nulon SYB should be kept on hand at all times in the glove box, in the workshop or in the home garage, the boat, or the tractor. One never knows when an engine will become stubborn and refuse, or be difficult to start. Nulon SYB will help preserve battery condition and it is totally harmless to engines. One short spray of Nulon is all that is necessary to start the most stubborn of engines.

Enjoy :)

There's a reason that there isn't an Australian Catholic University Northern Territory campus. Or an Australian National University Sydney. But I fear we're getting off topic.

    • +1

Off topic, but why did "See You in the Northern Territory" cause such a commotion and not so when Subaru released this? https://www.motor1.com/news/392401/subaru-not-bringing-fores…

      • For some reason the c word is more offensive

        • -2

Why is the "c word" more offensive than "dick"? Smells of misogyny to me.
Either one can be innocent or an insult depending on context.
          Lets reclaim the word.

      • C U in the N T slogan wasnt made by the NT government and the Subaru Model name wasnt made by Subaru. "We want to make sure that you and all of your customers know that Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) and Subaru Corporation (SBR) had nothing to do with this."

It was an independant distributor. Both slogans caused the same amount of "Stir" if you believe the fake news media. In reality, no one cares

What about "For Christ's sake come on!"

  • Is this stuff wd40 and petrol ina can ?

    • Basically just ethanol. But it has started everything I have ever had a problem with, first go.

      • +2

It's 24% ether, which may tickle some peoples palette.

  • Or just use carb cleaner, 400g for $6.49

    • Degreaser spray works on mowers and whipper snipper motors.

Love the name of the product. Reminds me of a very old Full Frontal (I think) episode where a person playing Moses is trying to part the Red Sea and screaming "C'mon part ya bastard". Had me in stiches. Still makes me laugh when I remember that scene.

Good stuff. Great fuel for potato cannons

It's a good thing Nulon doesn't make personal lubricants or laxatives. Imagine the trade names.

    • +3

I think you just may have a million dollar idea.

      • +1

Ha, if that's a million dollar idea then I've got a few more.

    • +2

They should rename it Get Off You Bastard, for that market

  • +17

will this work if I spray it on tradies who said were gonna start a job but are three weeks behind?

    • +3

If you do that it will start something, just might not be the job though…

  • +1

+1 for the name. I feel like I should buy some even though I don't need it anymore (it's been decades since I last owned an English car, and I sold the Commodore a few years ago….)

  • What a great name for a product.

  • +1

Next product name will be "Av a drink with us ya dog c!@#"

Be forewarned that this stuff is like small engine crack. Rely on it too much and you’ll always need it.
