So it's a bit like flybuys? Is this widely used in Japan ?

  • +3

Will be in Japan start of Feb, any actual benefits to this?

    • Excellent point! What to use it for?

An example of where you could use the card is when you're buying some fast food, with the 300 free points for registering you could be 3 hamburgers. Or maybe even add an extra order of fries or chicken nuggets? Maybe you're out drinking a coffee and you suddenly feel like you want to eat some cake, you can use this points to buy that cake.

thanks, shall give it a go for a april trip.

edit: offer is available until 23:59:59 of March 31

  • So you have to pick up an actual card in japan? Is it really hard to issue a virtual card?

    • +2

If they issued virtual cards can you imagine how many sock puppet accounts people would make for the 300points? The company would receive no benefit on tracking foreign visitors to the stores.

      • They could tie it to your phones IMEI so only one card per device
