    Pity they are crap.

Don't know why you're being downvoted, I've had them multiple times since they opened in Sydney and… I think "soggy" might be a generous way to describe them.

Yep, soggy and flavour is average at best. Should rename them to Lords of the Shite.

      • flaccid

Agreed. Had them twice and both times majorly dissapointing. First time thought, okay, maybe the cook was having a bad day, how hard is it to make bad fries? Tried few months later again with a co-worker, both threw our chips in the bin as not edible.

If you want good fries at home that put LOTF to shame, grab a pack of the coles branded beer batter steakhouse chips and cook them in an air fryer no more than 2-3 layers thick. Shake them every 4-5 minutes at 200C..

You'll get nice fries that are golden crispy and crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside and not drenched in oil.

For a more rustic touch sprinkle some italian herbs on them and sea salt.

Agree. Went there once and the "cheese" and "gravy" were both revolting

      • I thought that was how Poutine was meant to taste like until I went to Canada. LOTF "poutine" is revolting.

    • They're usually good when I get them, only had a handful of duds but that happens everywhere and they were still better than most takeaway chips. Maybe I'm just lucky or it's down to location? For example I've seen it said that Pizza Hut is better than than Dominos on here but the opposite holds true in my area.

Can i have some chips with that sauce

  • price of fries?

It might vary per store, but for the stores where you can order online, it appears to be:

      Kids $4.50, Regular $6.00, Large $7.50

Sauce is $0 for Aussie (tomato sauce), or $1.50-$3 for the other varieties. The sauces are also BOGOF though, so can grab 2 sauces for $1.50 or $3 I believe.

    best chips.

    • -1

They're just fries… nothing that spectacular.

      • +1

No, as opposed to 99% of other fries sold in Australia, they are cut from REAL potatoes and not from frozen shaped potato pieces.

  • +2

This is a new one. Other chains give 2 for 1 burgers hoping you'll buy extras. These guys are giving away 2 for 1 fries hoping you'd buy a burger.

  • +4

Most of the time you can get 40% off via eat club, just so you know. ;)

    • Guessing not in Sydney?

  • -4

Ah, love how they advertise "beef" in their burger, surely that's false advertising

Do you get upset at Kraft for selling peanut butter with no butter?
