Bonus points offer was for changing payment method to direct debit.
I thought that was 50,000 points and not 60,000. As i got 50,000 in my account
50,000 points was for the direct debit offer.

@dann: Um, well this offer was 40,000 points if you connect on a medium plans plus 20,000 bonus point. Def adds up 60,000.
I have been back and forth with Live Chat but they have been useless. One of the Chats even told me to go pick it up from a local store, he gave me an INT number, so drove all the way there and they were adamant at the store that they do NOT give out online orders as they are seperate businesses and even though I showed her the live chat transcript she didn’t care!
Went back on live chat to advise and they didn’t really do anything after that.
So you didn't get the bonus points? I assumed they were holding off on delivering mine until a qualification period for the direct debit had finished.
@rlexyd: Yeah, I reckon there must be a qualification period after you get the points before they send, just so you don't cancel the direct debit straight after ordering. The delay emails are just the smoke and mirrors.
Yes it’s the usual price, I ordered these a couple of weeks ago. Should be delivered today for me if the tracking is correct.

Ordered the AirPods with wireless charging case a month ago and received them the next day.
I was just about to ask if this was a special price or not, I have been waiting for my points to come through and thought this was always the price.

These are currently not on special (in terms of points). While I agree the other / previous special point bonus deals were fantastic, this post itself is not.
If you don't have the bonus points, you will need to spend $7100 AUD with Telstra in order to get AirPods. Is that really a "bargain"?
I have bonus points from Telstra and while most people had no issue redeeming those points. I had issues on both occasions. First time Telstra's site errored out, no order information, nothing. Took more than 1 week to investigate. Second time, order generated, but got a sorry e-mail saying there is a delay of processing for 15 business days.
If you already received the points (most OZBers would have), then you would most likely have redeemed for something by now. Otherwise, you need to contact Telstra to get the points (or some other form of compensation).
What's next? List other Apple products in Telstra Plus reward store as "bargains"?

Not really a special. Although i did get them with my points back in December. Unlike what others are saying i got my airpods literally the day after ordering.
When looking at their points + pay option it jumps from day 39k points to 79k points as offer for redemption + pay. Does anybody know whether they would consider say 60k points + pay on chat or are the jumps on the website non-negotiable.
Samsung Buds sold out now, so these would be sold out very quickly as soon as those bonus points come in :)
