Doohhhh… My old PCs are both IDE! That seems a VERY good price. Best I can readily see for 1TB is $230 for a WD SATA @ MSY. I'll definately have to keep my eye out for the "Bargain 24 - Every Tuesday & Thursday 12pm for 24hrs" at Mwave.

  i had that problem before i upgrade my PC too, i just get an enclosure to put the SATA HDD.

$99 for a 750GB SATA Samsung HDD - good price, but I will still prefer seagate~! ^^

Samsung F1 - somewhat questionable reliability (cheap for a reason)

Seagate .11 - no particular perks except 5 year warranty
