  • So how do I get the credit?

    • +3

I got three emails on 3 separate accounts, you click through email to get credit

      • +1

Oh right thanks, Damn I could have used that! Didnt receive an email, probably becaues I've spent a lot at Kogan or I'm unsubbed.

        • +2

          PM me

          Edit: Gone

  • +2

Got mine picked up an Airfyer and a bar of soap for $30.92 after $20 discount.

Hard going to find something to buy though. Lots of Kogan price jack.

    • +1

Can you share link of soap?

      • Has he dropped the soap yet?

    • Which air fryer did you get? The 6.2L showing $70 now? Was it the same one ?

  • +7

On a side note, anyone receive their $500 kogan credit from the credit card deal on Black Friday? I called a few weeks ago and they said it could take up to 10 weeks! I'm sure it's getting to that point now.

    • Nope, I've emailed them a couple of days ago and got the same response. Its up to 10 weeks after the end of your first month. I know I'm eligable, I signed up mid Dec from memory which would had ended a month ago now, so I have around 5-6 weeks left. Lets say 6 weeks because its Kogan.

    • +1

same here. I did a live chat with them last week. They keep throwing out that same line of it can take up to 10 weeks. So i should see it by mid March! It should really not take this long. I haven't heard of many people actually receiving the credit yet

    • +1

I only got $300 credit cos I applied too early. I got it within days after I linked my kogan credit card to my account. I linked my account to my credit card pretty late though.

      • How do you link accounts? Do you have to do it through their smartphone app?

        • You can enter the details of your kogan credit card to you kogan account, it will recognise that the card is a kogan credit card and you'll get free kogan first membership and your credits after that.

    • +1

Nope. No love yet for me either.
Almost feel like I'm no longer excited for it.

    • +1

      Haven't received my $500 credit

    • Same… I went on live chat and got them to confirm I was eligible for the $500 credit after I spent the $500. Took a screenshot in case they try to screw me. On a separate note, that Kogan credit card app is dodgy af - so many features don't work.

      • I don't get it, how will they screw you? How can you spend it before you get it?

        • This is in regards to the "Spend $500, get $500 credit"… screw me as in not provide the $500 credit.

          • @obsessive1234: Oh, just reread your comment, screenshot was of the chat, for some reason when you said spent the 500 O thought you meant on their site, and you were waiting for the credit to cover it :)

    • +1

Got mine today. Received an email about it Subject: "You have been awarded $500.00 credit at Kogan.com!"

      • Did you get the card right around black Friday?

        • +1

Yeah, sometime at the end of November.

  • +1

    What to buy?

  • +10

Picked up a slab of Budweiser and a $2 SIM earlier for $31 delivered

    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/null-budweiser-beer-24-x-330ml-…

    • +2

good idea. might do the same to get Hoegaarden

      • Done👍

    • good thinking

    • That's exactly what I've done, plan to use the SIM too for porting.

  • +1

i am struggling to find anything decent to buy.

  • +2

am i the only one haven't targeted?

    • did you subscribe to their news/email?

      • how to subscribe? i bought items from them guess that won't auto subscribe, is it too late to do it now ?

        • Yes, looks like too late, same thing happened to me, now only I subscribed.
Login to Kogan account-> go to my account on top right side -> Subscriptions and Alerts then click on "I never want to miss a deal!"

          • +1

@Kas: then im subscribed, and not targeted.
they keep sending me junk mails for 2 yrs and don't target me… so disappointed

            • @samelight: Same here… I get multiple emails from them every day and am even a kogan First member but no code email…

            • @samelight: likewise, was sick of so many emails every day

    • +1

I didn't get it either but I'm on their mailing list.

EDIT: Mine was set to "Send me the best deal of the day" so that's probably why. Damn :(

  • So vip.kogan.com is not a scam?

Even though Kogans website emails will only ever be sent from kogan.com or kogan.com.au

    • +2

      vip.kogan.com IS kogan.com

    • As above. It is coming from that domain. VIP is the sub-domain of kogan.com. Learning to read sub, second and top domains will help you avoiding security issues.

      • Interesting as I've NEVER signed up to Kogan emails.

  • +1

Oh didn't get it when I really need to buy something from kogan :(

  • +1

    enough to cover shipping

  • +2

I unsubbed from their email as I was getting 3+ emails a day … :( I guess here's the carrot to try and get me to stay on ;)

  • Was just about to make a purchase and saw this.

I've double checked my account and it's already set to 'I never want to miss a deal' - guess I've missed out on this one.

  • +1

Cheers OP, bought Hoegaarden for $30 - steal at this price! Wife wouldn’t be happy though… especially because she was targeted for this offer and I didn’t even ask her!

    • Was it $50?

      I am seeing $48 now

      • Don't think so. Probably just added a $2 SIM.

    • +1

Yep. Got a slab of Hoegaarden for $30

      • Cheap for a hoe garden

  • Any $1 items ?

  • +1

Got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon For Switch for $51 ($2 Kogan sim purchase)

Had to purchase a $2 Kogan sim and sign up for the free 14 day kogan first trial.

The $20 credit offer didn't stack with claiming a Kogan First free trial.

    Seems like a good deal

    • You sign up for kogan free shipping because of the sim or the Pokemon?

      • +1

well the sims useless to me actually it was to get the free trial on a seperate transaction since I cant stack everything in 1 transaction ifwise my total cost for the game would be $49

    • Wait, so you can't stack free shipping with Kogan First trial with the $20? How crap lol

  • Uhhhh I'm pretty sure I only checked out as guest on that email, but other one hasn't been targeted.
Is this trying to get me to sign up? I don't need another account lol.

    • Update - now I've got three lol.

  • Nintendo switch joycons for $85. Not bad but I thought Kogan usually sells them for mid $90s

  • I never got a deal, is that because i'm a good customer so I don't deserve it lol….

  • strange i already had a kogan account linked to my email and had send me deal of the day only. I changed it to send me all the emails and now just received an email saying i signed up to a kogan account….

  • Mod: Want a code? Request it in the Code Request/Giveaway Megathread

  • +2

Unbelievable. I get multiple spam emails per day from them telling me about offers. But an actual decent deal and im not targetted. Maybe I use my account too much.

    Mod: Edited

  • Thanks OP, Got 2!

  • +1

Got on 2 accounts, opted for 30 can block of VB for $35 after discount.

    Thanks OP

  • +1

Any idea who they are using for delivery? CBF buying from them if they are using fastWay courier.

    • +2

They use AusPost for at least some of the deliveries. Not sure how you can tell though.

      • Thanks mate

        • Just checked their Shipping Guide and it looks like the only way to guarantee Australia Post is to pay extra for Express shipping (if the product is eligible for it) as they use Australia Post eParcel Express and Priority Mail services for that.

I ordered a 32" TV a couple of weeks ago via normal shipping to Perth metro and AusPost was the carrier.

          • @robinCTS: Alright, rephrasing my question then.
Has anyone ordered beer from Kogan before, and if yes, was it delivered by auspost/startrack?
            I just can't stand toll/fastWay

            • +1

@ShouldIBuyIt: I just ordered, if you want to wait a day I can update you.

              • @cloudy: You should have received an order confirmation email with a link to your order history containing tracking info. If it's via AusPost then you'll see it there. (Not sure if all other carriers will show up, but at least you'll know if it's not AusPost.)

              • @cloudy: That would be awesome! Thanks!

                • +2

@ShouldIBuyIt: got dispatch email earlier today, auspost sending it.

                  • +2

@cloudy: And got the both items already, auspost sender.

          • +1

@robinCTS: Ordered something from Kogan a few months back using their standard shipping and they used AusPost

        • The sim was shipped two days ago, but the beer hasn't

          • @[Deactivated]: Received the beer, but not the SIM!

            • @INFIDEL: The beer was actually shipped yesterday, but no shipping confirmation received

              • @[Deactivated]: Same - woken this morning with a $30 carton of Hoegaarden Beer🍺 Notice it had shipped was received yesterday.

No notice that SIM hasn't even shipped.

    • +1

      Fastway are the f’n worst

  • I am the chosen one.
Deleted the email cause usually the minimum spend is like $1,000!

    • +2

You delete emails? Unread Hotmail 9937, Gmail 3345

      • +1

        You still use Hotmail?

      • I do now, but didn’t for a long time: 93,239 unread emails

      • +2

214,045 unread in one of 8 inboxes.

  • Are you allowed to buy a Kogan mobile recharge voucher through Kogan.com to use this, would anyone know? Thanks in advance!

    • +1

      Yes

  • Got the email aswell :)

  • Anyone know the expiry date of this $20 credit?
Can't see it on their email.

    • +2

“ Kogan Credit will be valid until 11:59PM (AEDT) 29 February 2020.“
      Source: email.

  • +1

got one , but not sure what to buy these days from Kogan. Never really like Kogan branded stuff too.Any suggestions?

  • Good deal, unfortunately doesn't stack with Kogan First free trial. If I pay for shipping it is $17, so essentially only $3 off.
