I too got the same email with the expiry stated as 29th Feb

  • is there a live chat with kogan?

Got the Premium DC Motor Fan for $43 Delivered, cheers!

    • How? With the discount it will still be $49.99 w/o delivery.

      • There was extra 10% off before and ended on 26 Feb.

  • Thanks OP, got the kogan airfryer and $2 sim card. With summer discount , $20 voucher and free kogan trial was only $26.99.

    • It's not accepting $20 credit unless the total is $50 at checkout. How did you manage to get it for only $26.99?

      • air fryer was just under $50. added a $2 sim card to make the $50. Kogan also has a summer sale on some items that dropped the price more. Paid with $20 credit and with the free kogan 14 day shipping trial total was $26.99.

I use this in winter, we started getting mould and humid when we closed our door at night and lack of air flow and heat made our windows all condensate. It’s great and does exactly as described

      • Thanks, is it noisy and how many days it takes to fill 2L tank?

        • It took us 3 nights, but asking that question needs to take into account how humid the place is and the space so it’s probably not going to be useful for you to know how long it takes me to fill it up, unless your hiding under my bed haha.

      • hi, i would like to know more about it too,
        now noisy it is,
is there any speed setting and how long it took to fill up the 2L tank?

  • Seems $20 can't combine with kogan first trial. Interested in this but no reviews : https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-multigrinder-pro/

Anyone had one or better suggestions? Thanks

    • +1

You just need to sign up to Kogan First separately first, and then add the item to cart after you've signed up and it'll work :)

hey guys, you can reset the expiry date by order something and then cancel it.
they will refund you ur money and the voucher credits with a new expiry date untill MAY.

      • i only got the refund option.

        • refund processed for me but money hasn't gone back to my paypal and no credit has appeared yet either ><

          • @CVonC: their staff don't work during the week end…

            • @samelight: The refund was processed today and money went back in my PayPal but no credit for $20 :(

          • @CVonC: Had a refund promised on Thursday, received refund processed email on Friday stating 3-5 days to appear in account. So likely will be in account on Friday for me.

Just bought xiaomi mi band 4 international version + $2 simcard:

    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/heybattery-xiaomi-mi-band-4-bla…

  • How do you cancel the order as my credit was not applied? There is no cancel order button. I can only contact seller or kogan.com

    • +1

the cancel button only available after payment processed and be4 warehouse packed ur order, usually 30min during the business hr,
but if ur order it after 5pm u got whole night to decide.

now u could send them a msg, tell them ur credit didn't applied and they may refund u the diff.

      • Payment has been processed and no cancel button as yet, probably I ordered after 5 pm Aest. Have sent email to them. I just worried that they will send the order tomorrow morning before they arw able to send them. Thanks

        • have u check ur order history—> view
the botton should be between the Delivery address and the Qantas adv.

          • @samelight: Yes, I checked it multiple times in both app and website. Not there

            • @yht: Upon checking, my order time stamp was 1:47 pm wast, thus it was before 5 pm aest

              • @yht: It's pathetic, got the reply from the seller that they are unable to cancel the order as it has been allocated. Surely they can stop it being sent ?

                • @yht: Sounds like the item you bought was from a marketplace seller, Looks like they have their own shipping systems sadly.

If it was a Kogan direct item, there’s generally the direct button to cancel.

To be fair, they all ship pretty quickly, I bought two items, from marketplace sellers and both items arrived already. Took them less than 30 hours to ship and have it sent. So must all be pretty automated for fast delivery, but also harder to change your mind.

                  • @cloudy: The problem is that there is no "Cancel Order" button available even though the Help Center shows this button.

                    • @yht: Not sure if you read what I wrote.

If it was a Kogan direct item, there’s generally the direct button to cancel.

                      • @cloudy: Yes, I read that. I have one Kogan brand item and definitely no cancel order button

                    • +1

@yht: Great, Kogan item has now has a tracking number. Pathetic. One side, I don't mind they are so quick processing the order, but on the other side, there is no phone details, live chat avail or cancel order button available. Only snail email which they don't respond !

    • Same happened to me. Tried to cancel the order straight away, but there was no cancellation button in the order history - even less than 10 minutes after the payment! And this was at 2am, so order went pretty much straight to the Warehouse department, with no chance of cancellation.. And I couldn't find any other way to contact them either at the time.. So may have to order some beer now and use the credit to offset the damage! Lol. By the way, what email address did you use to message them? Any reply yet?

      • I can only send message via contact seller and contact kogan.com. Just a pathetic response.

        • Hey, I used the email [email protected] last time I had to contact them.

          • @Vinodra: Yeah, noticed the auto-reply email from Kogan. No direct response from Kogan up to now.

    • Another person wasting their time trying to cancel an order from Kogan Marketplace!

Had added Kogan First trial to cart to check lower prices on a few items yesterday - forgot it was there. Comments here that that trial & $20 credit can't both be used with order!

When adding $50 beer etc to otherwise empty cart ($0) early this morning, it stated the $20 credit would be applied at checkout.
Went to checkout, but didn't check amount until the second after I clicked buy… No $20 credit applied.

Spent so much time trying to contact support, my messages to cancel the order (5 minutes after ordering) were said to be sent on to merchant CUB. (May take up to 2 days to reply!)

      No response at all.
Also sent emails to [email protected]. No response.

Only response - full price beer has been shipped😡

      • +2

Kogan doesn't employ customer service person to deal with after sales, not like Amazon, mostly amazing customer service.
Will not buying from Kogan anymore other than cheap SIM plan as 99.9% of their items price is also crazily expensive.

        • That was what I told them!
Wouldn't want to waste my time on Kogan again. It wasn't worth the hassle.

Requested repayment of $20 overcharge when system failed to accept credit as site stated would occur at checkout.
Will try part charge back of CC if that fails.

          • @INFIDEL: Please let me know how you go as I still haven't received any response from Kogan as yet.

            • @yht: Told Kogan how bad their customer service is - I think they must hear that a lot!

My only other purchases from Kogan were 3 cheap SIM plans in 2017-18 totalling $1.98!
              They've lost another valuable customer😉

              • @INFIDEL: Even better, I have just received a tracking notification from Marketplace using Fastway, which is not a good courier company depending on the contractor. Oh man !

                • @yht: You have all the fun - saw your comments above!

My local Fastway is a great guy. Well all the local courier drivers are great, but he's the best.

                  • @INFIDEL: Lucky you :)

                    • @yht: It's a quiet area & Bob is in no rush. We talk about life for ages.

Well your order is on its way - another cancellation request ignored!

                      • @INFIDEL: LOL. Yeah, bloody Kogan. No wonder they are making a lot of profits.

                        • @yht: And for even more profits…

Even though $20 credit was not used in purchase as it should have been - it has now disappeared!

Entering the email code again I get Your eVoucher has already been redeemed or has expired. It expires in 2 days but has gone!

That could mean a few things.
The best outcome is they are refunding the $20 to my CC, so removed the credit as used.

Or the bastard outcome is my credit is gone & I was charged $20 too much!

                          • @INFIDEL: Really ? WTF ?

                            • @yht: Check your credit as we seem to be in a similar situation where the credit wasn't applied to the purchase! But mine has been "used".

                              • +1

                                @INFIDEL: Mine is still there

                                • @yht: No soup refund for you! (Yet)

Expect they are waiting for the Merchant to respond to your message.
That's why I sent messages to the Merchant & support (via email).

                            • @yht: Received email response to my complaint…

                              [UPDATE FROM KOGAN]
As a gesture of goodwillI, I have requested to have a partial refund of $20 provided to you.

So that's why the $20 credit just disappeared! The best outcome above.

                              Happy Happy Joy Joy!
Still won't be buying from Kogan again!

It shouldn't be this hard to fix a problem their system created!

Will sleep well tonight - it was an exhausting battle.
So your turn to try now!

                              I need a good drink🍺
There should be a case of Hoegaarden beer on my doorstep in the morning.

                              • @INFIDEL: Yeay ! Glad to hear that. Waiting for mine to be responded.

                                • @yht: Only took 7hrs!!

                                  I had requested either to:
                                  Cancel order or
Refund the $20 overpayment to my CC.

As it was a problem with their system not CUB, repayment was always the better option.

                                  • @INFIDEL: Lucky you. My email has already more than 24 hours unanswered !

                                    • @yht: I've been a business consultant & taken a business to court. So I approach complaints with that understanding.
I'm used to positive outcomes when dealing with businesses.

                                      But Kogan!!
This was a relatively big battle for a small payout.

I gave Kogan an ultimatum of 2 possible outcomes (above).
                                      Cancel order or
Refund the $20 overpayment to my CC.

Plus said I would not shop with them again…

Supply of the product, or cancellation, is up to the Merchant.
Billing & credit is up to Kogan.
Addressing the problem to the right business is the first issue.

Asking just to cancel, is usually out of the control of Kogan. It's up to the merchant. So they will likely wait for the Merchant to respond (within 2 business days!). Which we realise is far too late!!

Send an email to Support complaining about their problem of not applying your credit. Ask for a refund for your overpayment caused by their system! That's something within their control!

Point out how upset you are about this, how their poor customer service has wasted your valuable time, & caused you anxiety due to lack of any response! So you won't easily want to shop with Kogan again!!

(I shouldn't have placed an order while half asleep! I didn't check the amount charged. A basic mistake of not checking before paying.)

                                    • @yht: still no answers?

                                        • @yht: Got their response today "
Please note that the credit was not applied because you have added Kogan First on your purchase".
                                          Is that right??

                                          • @yht: That's my exact case.

In my case I got no benefit from adding Kogan First (no discount or free shipping). And had complained that I didn't want it.

I stated the $20 "credit will be applied at checkout" was clearly shown. But it wasn't. And I said I was very upset & wouldn't shop with Kogan again.

That's why they gave me a "goodwill" refund. That is - it's not our fault, but we don't want to lose a customer over $20.

                                            • @INFIDEL: Ok, will wait for the senior person to reply.

                                              • @yht: Hope it works out after such a long wait👍

                                          • @yht: u can use Kogan First and the credits together.
                                            https://imgur.com/a/AnDcjtc

                                            • @samelight: Thanks, Mate. I know that the customer service is a bit lazy and just give excuses. She didn't even check if I have the free trial Kogan First and not paying for it. She reckoned I tried to use the credit for the membership.

                                              • @yht: Looks like the free trial period ended.

But my order showed it was free at time of order.

They may be responding about what now appears on their screen (a paid service) they think was paid by the credit at time of order.
So point it was free at time of order, & to the free amount in the order to prove it.

And do you still have the $20 credit - if so, it was not used to pay for Kogan First!

But as was pointed out by others, the $20 credit & free trial couldn't be used in the same order. Others set up Kogan First trial first & worked, then placed order. I just left it in my cart by mistake.

Did you receive any benefit from the Kogan First trial (discount, free shipping)? That would complicate things!

I made sure they knew adding the Kogan First trial was an error. I quickly cancelled it online, after complaining to have it cancelled. That way they couldn't get away with the BS they're giving you!

Sitting drinking a discount beer from my order, waiting for my refund🍺

                                                • @INFIDEL: Yeah, I have cancel the subscription after the order. Just in case I forgot. Yes, I got the benefit using it.

                                                  • @yht: Well that doesn't really change things much…

Point out if you had first subscribed to the Kogan First trial, there would not be this issue. You would have a free subscription with its benefits.

The failure to deduct the $20 credit from the purchase price only arose because you simply put the free Kogan First trial in with your order. That shouldn't change anything!

                                                    Kogan's system then wouldn't apply the $20 credit…
(it processed the order differently, requiring a credit card to set up the subscription!)
There was no warning from Kogan not to do this - so it's their system fault!! Naughty Kogan!

So the credit wasn't applied as it should have been to the order, as would have been expected, & as stated it would be "applied at checkout" on their site when going to the cart.

Point out as I did, that's an error in their order system!!
Customers aren't liable for their system faults.
So demand a refund of the $20 overpayment Kogan's system inflicted on you!

Feel free to copy / modify this if it helps you in your complaint.

                                                    • @INFIDEL: Thanks, Mate. Still waiting for the response from Senior Team member.

                                                      • @yht: All the waiting really is terrible with Kogan!

Have just received separate replies with different excuse to all the complaints I lodged yesterday morning. They range from the response you got (nothing because you ordered the trial) to the refund has been processed.

                                                        • @INFIDEL: Yeah, I wonder why people is buying from Kogan. What happens if you need warranty claims or goods damaged during transit? Must be a terrible experience to deal with their slowness and laziness

                                                          • @yht: We have been warned!
No way now I'll buy anything (except SIM plans as you say) from Kogan!!

Hope all goes well for you!
Most people having issues with Kogan don't have a shoulder to cry on like this. It was better to know I wasn't the only one.

At least the cold Hoegaarden beer is enjoyable🍺
Do I dare buy another case with my other $20 email voucher…

                                                          • @yht: becoz kogan wasn't this bad be4, they used to have very good customer service, live chat and no question asked for returns,
the price ar great as well, but the good old days are gone now.

                                                            • @samelight: I realised that now. They even told me that my email is on a priority. Don't know which level of priority it is as from Friday morning, there was no response from their Senior Team Member. Followed up with them this morning and nil response. Their high priority is quickly process customer order and sending it; ie. making sales ! Don't expect good after sales service from Kogan.

                                                              • @yht: I'm still receiving replies from last week's complaints.

Got another response today that a $20 refund is being organised! They've already processed my refund. They're so disorganised! I might get make a profit😊

                                                                • @INFIDEL: Or probably they did nothing.

                                                                  • @yht: $20 Refund back on CC👍
Wonder if I'll receive another refund?

                                                                    • @INFIDEL: Good on you. I have finally got a satisfactory response :
The payment for this order was taken via Credit Card because you have opted in to the Kogan First 14-Day Trial upon checkout.

You can see an example of the Kogan First Trial sign-up box here:

As after the 14-Day Trial, you will be charged for the membership, we require your Credit Card details to be able to process this payment.

As a gesture of goodwill, I have requested a partial refund of $20 to be processed for you.

To be honest, I don't care about their BS as the bottom line ie. Refund will be done. Whatever!

                                                                      • @yht: I think they have that reply ready for complaints. Word for word the reply I received the day I complained.

                                                                        Refund received in CC yesterday.

Probably like me - glad to finally be free of Kogan!

                                                                        • @INFIDEL: Yeah, they knew that they have system issue.

                                                                          • @yht: But they made you wait anyway… #*$@##!!

                                                                            • @INFIDEL: Yep, made me claim and wait

                                                                          • @yht: As I expected…. Received another $20 refund!
(Accidentally sent a complaint from wrong account.)

So paid $50 for $30 beer & SIM, got $40 back because Kogan got Konfused🎉

                                                                            It's always nice to make a profit👍
Enjoying the $10 case of Hoegaarden beer🍻

                                                                            • @INFIDEL: Nice

                                                                              • @yht: Checked the price at Dan's $65! Even nicer😊

I had placed same order on other account - so they got confused & refunded $20 to it.

                                                                                Kogan customer service is stuffed!
Luckily this time in my flavour👍

                                                                                • @INFIDEL: I was lucky enough didn't pull the trigger to buy a carton of apple cider $48 from Kogan. I bought from Catch for $46 + $4.90 sim card then apply $10 credit for first time app user plus $20 from latitude pay. $30 discount compared to $20.

                                                                                  • @yht: Noticed your Catch comment last night in ShopBack Deal. Was wondering what the $10 discount was - ah, using the app.
You got better savings that way👍

  • Damn my offer requires an order over $100 instead of $50

    • Same here.

    • Yep I just got same offer.
