Sounds good to me. Any good suggestions for flavours as I don't know what they sell and don't wanna buy one with a notoriety for bad reviews :D

  • Whats the * for? Limit per customer?

    • *particular stores - I guess

      According to the email its:
Terms & Conditions: Valid at all Muffin Break stores in Australia on 17 March 2020. Maximum 4 muffins per customer. Not valid with any other offer.

        Thanks killer

In my experience, I've always found Muffin Break muffins to be very bland and dry. I've never understood their widespread popularity or appeal…

    • u need to get there early

      • +5

Arriving early doesn't stop a muffin you want to eat later during the day from going stale. A company that builds itself on muffins should be able to offer a quality product during operation hours. If they can't they should be doing multiple bakes.

There are so many different mixes - it really depends on which muffins you choose. Some are more moist than others - different flavours will also affect moistness.

We bake muffins in the morning and continue baking throughout the day. We do not sell any muffins from any previous day either. All muffins are baked fresh same day.

Full list of muffin mix types as follows:

          Hi Fibre
          Low Fat
          Wholemeal / Bran
          Low Carb
          Gluten Free
          Dairy Free
          Vegan

The high fibre apple / banana muffins should be more moist but in general freshly baked muffins aren't like your cake mix / loaf mix.

It may be that some convenience store / airport muffins might be moist due to sugary preservatives added.

Agree, their muffins aren't very fluffy or muffiny. Some of them even serve crunchy / crispy muffin tops when they were clearly meant to be soft or fluffy (e.g. blueberry muffins). Although some stores are better than others.

      • Has to beat Coles and woolies muffins still?

        • Yes, would concede they definitely beat supermarket quality from Coles and Woolies.

I prefer crispy tops. Each to their own.

        • +2

I would eat the crispy tops all day and leave the rest

Top of the muffin to you!

  • Limit of 4 per customer

I am a new customer. The other customer who strongly resembled me, and whose muffins I am carrying only as a favour, was clearly not sporting this fine fake moustache.

Is there some muffin => Irish connection I'm not aware of?

    • +1

I see muffins as leaning more towards the Scottish
      ( Mc Muffin etc)

        next level logic

  • How much are they usually?

    • ~$4

    • A 4-pack goes for $12-14 depending on store.

    • 3 for $5 end of the day

    Bargain

My muffin top cost me more than $2

  • Last time they did this they were out of stock by 10am. Total waste of time.

    • rain check?

Would be surprised they wouldn't be making enough for the day. The last time they ran a $2 promo (can't remember for what) I still managed to buy some during the evening.

    • Bought today @2pm

  • Geez, that's pretty cheap. Hopefully people are volunteering to work unpaid so Muffin Break can afford it. Who knows… they may end up with a job.

  • Thanks, looking forward to a few muffins.
