I know this price isn't as low as the past deals, but I've been waiting eagerly for a deal on this device.

Does Kobo have freebies as often as amazon Kindle does?
No, but you can get eBooks from the library on your kobo, unlike Kindle (afaik).

Calibre is helpful for those with Kindles. I'll probably go Kobo when my Kindle dies, but for now it does the job :)
Has overdrive support. You can read books from your library is they use overdrive.
My 'HD Glo' died last week, been using a tablet til I could repair it. Might just bite the bullet and get a new one. Looks like this Clara HD replaces the HD Glo.

Kobo is better, but they do have quality control issue. Other than that they are very underrated.
Too bad no libra deal. Libra is like oasis but much cheaper and better.

Bit the bullet; I got it price matched at JB to $158. Also got the Sleep Cover Case down from $44 to $40, all up $198.

I'd say if you buy don't price match elsewhere. Buy from them.

It's possible to change the internal SD card to a larger card. However, it isn't a straight swap as you'll need to clone the image on the original card plus reclaim the extra space on the new card.
