Isn't it ongoing offer ? And also the Fetch Mini is not actually Free, but have to pay setup fee $60 + $15 delivery ?

    • Not sure about how long has the Fetch Mini been free but I saw the $59.99 (used to be $79.99) for 6 months.

    • I bought a fetch mighty about 18 months ago. Plugged it in and it worked, no idea what kind of 'setup' you get for the $60. Just sounds like profit dressed up as something else to me!

  • Minimum charge $434. So $60 a month for 6 months is kinda misleading. Extra is Fetch setup fee and postage, it appears. Maybe without the Fetch and BYO modem its $360 for 6 months.

  • I left internode in December. Would I be eligible??

  • Don't do it. They've been terrible when comparing my internet speed vs how it was with Kogan

    • So Kogan is better?

iiNet wrecked them. Horrid company, glad I’m away from them (and Adam, TPG et al)

Just left internode after 6 months of not even being able to play counter strike. They said it was all my modem ect so I bought a fancy modem then it still didn't work for 4 more months.

New isp is awesome ,launtel works at as fast as abb

    • Really? I'm with Internode 50/20 via a FTTN connection, and I've been able to consistently get 46mbps down and 18mbps up.

  • Been with Node for at least 10 years, yes - they are not perfect - DUH!
but Kogan? thats the bottom of the barrel.

    highly recommend NODE

have never used Kogan yet, and hopefully never will

I am with Optus 50Mbps NBN Fttn for $60 a month. Was able to negotiate it with them last year on chat.

  • Existing customers can get this. They give you new account number and sign you up with direct debit payments. You don't have to sign up for fetch, you can byo router, but can only use the nbn phone with their router.

    • how do you get the new account number? just ask for cancellation? Current Internode customer but 6 months $20 off is ending end of the month.

I wasn’t locked in with an existing contract, so I called them and said I wanted to get the deal.

        • Thanks, might give them a call tomorrow and see what they can do, otherwise I'll prob try belong/launtel.

          • @cray: ABB have a promo too I think

Don't know why they're still keeping the Internode brand alive… It's not the Internode of old, it's just TPG now.

Aussie Broadband is the closest to what Internode was, I'm very happy with them for service and speed.

  • You had me at $60 and lost me at dynamic ip.

+$10 extra for static is crazy.

    • +2

To be fair, including a static IP at that price point would be crazy. A lot of ISP's now don't even have dynamic IP as standard, they have a thing called CGNAT,people effectively share the same IP and you have to ask for a dynamic on if you need it.
Then Static is another thing again that most people do not need but nearly every ISP charges for or includes it in their price structure. A few even require you to have a ABN to get one. Most charge between 5 and 10 dollars. The few who include a static IP in the cost such as Future Broadband are not as cheap as this deal.

  • Launtel has a 7 day free trial, day to day pricing pooled and charged at the end of the month, the ability to pause your connection per day to save money (for some people this is very useful), or you can opt for data banking; for example you can buy 500gb (of which any unused portion will be rolled over for your next month) of data for $55 dollars instead of the day to day unlimited charge. Also the ability to raise or lower your connection speed to save money on day to day cost.

I was with internode, and they're fantastic, but I switched to Launtel based on the flexibility they offer.

  • Do you get to keep the fetch after? And can you use it to subscribe direct to fetch after finishing 6 months with internode?

If you are BYOing a modem and on FTTP, make sure it supports VLAN tagging, Id 2. Some ASUS models hardwire vlan 2 and others don’t allow you to configure at all. Then you need a new modem. Applies to all tpg group.

  • does internode work with the FTTC NBN modem to the google wifi?
