This is going to need to be a lot more than 25% off to get people on a greyhound bus…

I did long distance between Canberra and Sydney for 3 years. Murrays and Greyhound did well off me. Sometimes you need a bus :/

Could be a good way to self-isolate

  • Sounds like a bad idea to be travelling in a bus right now.

But we need to support the local business :(

      Support GREYHOUND, if they're good,
but, I'd say: -BOYOTT- SA's anti-
      Competitive:

      • Premier Stateliner

…for at least two (2) reasons:

      1. They charge the Fare (to End of
. the line, eg, to Adelaide), even
. if you're only traveling to Next-
. Stop (eg, a nearby stop, eg, to
. an ALDI store, < halfway to Adel.)

      2. Cheaper, non-SA bus services are
. BANNED from picking-up or Stopping
, in SA, or so they tell us

      3. They don't accept an animals -
        . at least companion animals, & I've
. forgotten whether or not they'll
        . allow a Seeing-Eye Dog for Blind-
        . passengers (Can any1 confirm?)

      Anyway, they seem travel almost-
      EMPTY (a Plus, I guess if you're
      going to an End-of-Route stop)

      Last I checked, SA had 19 COVID-19
cases, & No Deaths; but it's been
a few days since I've checked.

Any1 care to seek fare-justice with
      an ACCC Complaint…?

Having to pay for so my many MORE
KM's than you need to travel makes
      disadvantages disabled & elderly,
some of whom are Not Wealthy.

(Say, do any other bus services BAN
      Seeing-Eye dogs & Comfort Animals?)
