  • this is a pretty bad deal considering it's only $10 at woolworths to buy a tub of gatorade powder which makes 8 litres (13 bottles). So you can get 26 bottles for $20.

you seem to be missing a key point, where are the 13 bottles going to come from and what cost?

      • +4

at the cost of the environment.

        • Each to his own, i suppose.

        • -2

that doesnt change the fact you have 8 litres of powdered gatorade and no bottles to put them in

      • Buy one or two bottles if you dont have any and you are still in front…..

I buy Powerade powder and make my own drinks using filtered water. Works out much cheaper than buying individual bottles and more environmentally friendly to boot. However I wouldn't say 24 bottles for $39 delivered is a bad deal, as the two are not directly comparable.

      • Harpic and Sugar is much cheaper, and cleans on the way thru :p

That's kinda like saying buying 100 bottles of water delivered for $10 is a rip-off because you can get the same water from your tap for about 30 cents. It's technically true but [a] missing the point and [b] not really the same product that you're comparing.

Works out to $1.625 each. You do realize that in the USA, 600 mL Gatorades regularly sell for US$0.75 (AU$0.70) each when on special? And you don't have to buy 24 bottles either (usually only a 6-pack). Also, yellow and blue are the least desirable flavours which is why they are offering them on special. Another thing I find funny is that 600 mL bottles are sold individually in Australia in supermarkets. Walk into a supermarket in the US, and they come bundled in 6-packs - you can't buy anything less than 6 unless it's from a vending machine or something.

unfortunately getting these products from the US isn't possible for some people. but man gatorade at 70c each would be so good

funny thing is, this is Australia and not US.

      • It's east to forget sometimes with all the Amazon 'deals' around here…
