Microsoft sell same price plus cashback and free delivery.

Correct, but as it is the weekend you could walk into any Jb and buy and not have to wait for it to be delivered :)

If you are not rush, Microsoft usuallly very quick delivery, i get it next day delivery normally. Just another option.

      • That's assuming JB Hi-Fi have any stock … the top of the range Surface Laptop 3 that goes for like $3500 RRP is completely sold out in NSW and my nearest store showing stock (yesterday) was in Elizabeth Street, Melbourne

Microsoft have the same sale… I know because I've been looking for sales for a couple of weeks. Invalid neg, IMO

It’s a Microsoft sale, which has led to the same sale at the other major retailers as well (e.g. HN, TGG).

A couple of reasons to buy from Microsoft
    1. Cashback
    2. Their returns policy (currently 30 days) - it is very good/efficient if you take it to the Pitt St store in Sydney.
    3. Amex offer (if you buy instore, I'm sure you can put it across 2 cards)

Reason to buy from JB - You can get 5% discounted gift cards

The difference between the 256GB and 128GB SSD versions of the Surface Pro 7 i5 8GB Ram models are $425!

    ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Sadly it's always been like that and it sucks. I tell people just to install a MicroSD card into the hidden slot ($100+ for 512gb) and use that to store data and run Apps off C:\

Clearly MS took their queue from Apple but at least you can install a MicroSD card in it unlike Macbooks
