210

Guys, super pumped to be coming to you with this one! The DMH-Z5350BT is the first new model of 2020 we've been able to get our hands on! We've been playing with one for a couple of days and, wow, what a unit! The screen on this thing is amazing!

Only $499!

  • 6.8" Clear-type capacitive touch LED screen that's Full-HD really, really good looking
  • Dual camera input (you're getting one for free)
  • Wired, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto for calls, text messages & navigation via compatible smartphone
  • Bluetooth connection with two devices for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming
  • RCA Preouts x 3 (4V) & built in MOSFET 50W x 4 amplifier
  • Built to suit the APP8PIO8 to provide a plug and play installation

I know this price is the same as a lot of other places, so to make it sweeter, we've added the RCAMAVIC for free, and we'll foot shipping.

We're all out here trying to get through the next couple of weeks, so lets all be friends here!

Just to help me out in replying to you guys quicker etc. please have a look first before you ask will this fit my car? You can find out through aerpro.com by looking for your car. If you find it with a Double Din facia kit, I'll be happy to give you a price that'll be on-top of the $250 installation charge to pop it into your car.

  • Hey Rep, this is a great deal however I notice it's a full sized unit. I have an E46 BMW and fitting a full size headunit means chopping up some AC piping. Any new models for 2020 that have a double din sized screen in a single din sized unit (like the ax5000)? Sub $1000 range ideally

    • +1

      full sized unit

Keep an eye out, there are short chassis in the 2020 line up. We just don't know when they're landing.

  • Hi Rep,

How much for a Toyota Supra Mkiv?

    Thanks.

  • Toyota Supra Mkiv

Almost nothing dude, I think you'd just need the $17 Toyota to ISO cable and the Pioneer to ISO cable… you could get away with it for under $40! You'd have to come in or call the store to be 100% sure but.

  • Hi Rep. I am local and have a 2011 CR-V (RE) - poverty pack no climate but with bluetooth on the A pillar.
Very motivated to finally get this done for my Wife for the hands free calling & maps.

Could you please quote me for supply and install:
    - DMH-Z5350BT
    - Aerpro fascia kit
    - Aerpro looms etc to have steering wheel controls
    - Bundled reverse camera running on the rear tailgate

    Additional questions
    1. Can the Honda BT on the pillar be bypassed/ neatly disconnected?
    2. Can the 3.5mm aux input be connected?

Scoring #COVID brownie points? I like it!

      1. Can the Honda BT on the pillar be bypassed/ neatly disconnected?

      For sure.

      1. Can the 3.5mm aux input be connected?

Ok, so the DMH-Z5350BT doesn't have AUX. It's got Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth audio streaming. The need for AUX just isn't there. So nope, the AUX will go away in favour of three better solutions.

      List
      * Aerpro APP8PIO8 - Pioneer to ISO
      * Aerpro FP9273K Install Kit - everything needed to connect it up and make it work

The installation and parts aspect will be $433.59. To the total you're looking at is $932.59. If that's a little too much, we're building our April sales list now - keep an eye out on our Facebook/Instagram and all through Google for the offers.

      • Are you sure there is no Aux in?

From the Quick Start Guide on page 9, https://www.pioneer.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/DMH-Z5…

it shows "Aux Input" at label 8, with a cable sold separately. In my mind this is a 3.5mm Aux in that does video + L & R sound. Surely, you could just use a normal 3.5mm audio cable in this place for sound only? Then route this to the centre console?

Even if that wasn't possible, you could go from this cable: https://www.ebay.com.au/i/223517419190?chn=ps&norover=1&mkev…

back to 3.5mm audio by using a converter from the red and white A/V cable - ie https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3-5mm-AUX-Male-to-2-RCA-Female-S…

      • I am happy with the costs for the installation & the Aerpro parts. I totally agree that no one will miss the aux jack with BT audio, usb and carplay/android auto options. This makes sense to me.

Thanks for the heads up on the April sale list - I will check that out.

        • But as I posted above, it does in fact seem possible to connect it. If it was me, I'd still have it wired up so it is an option available should you want it.

No harm in not doing it.

          • @placard: Probably a weekend project to look into after installation. I am too time poor (children) to do the entire install including RCA cable from tailgate to HU for the reverse camera.

            • @yokel: Oh I understood your question about Aux In to mean you want to use the current Honda CRV Aux in socket to connect to this new head unit, which I believe is possible, despite this company saying it wasn't possible and/or not necessary due to bluetooth.

Hence my take was that if you're going to ask this company to do the installation for you, then get them to hook up Aux In at the same time.

              :)

  • Hi,

What head-unit, which has both Carplay and Androidauto, would you recommend for BMW 118i 2006 (E87) ? How much it would cost for parts and installation ?

  • Hi
How many usb port Pioneer DMH-Z5350BT have?

I mean one for USB music play and one for android auto connection at the same time?

  • How much for a corolla 2008

  • Hello, Is this head unit offer still on? How much will it cost to install for a B Class Merc - 2007 B180 W245? The kit looks like the Aerpro FP9292K kit. Will the kit work with the Pioneer AVH-Z2250BT unit (if I want it with a CD/DVD player)?
